Where is Emily's dad???

Ok, on the show, we've seen Emily with her mom a lot, right? But, we haven't seen any of her other family. I mean, I guess maybe she just doesn't have any siblings. But, where is her dad? 'Cause, I figure, if her dad left them 또는 something, they would've mentioned it. I'm just confused...

According to the 1º book, her father lives with her and she has 3 sibilings, 2 sisters and 1 brother. At the least one sister lives with her, I think her name is Carolyn, but I'm not sure if they are going to appear in the TV series :)

I don't remember the exact line,but Emily does say that her parents are "Mr. and Mrs. Military."
