Why are hand-drawn 애니메이션 and stop-motion 애니메이션 still dead?

How come people have 로스트 interest in hand-drawn 애니메이션 and stop-motion animation? John Lasseter has always said that Story is the most important part of a film; not its art form.
But many people are very blind to realize that. It bugs me that the whole audience is so fickle. In the early 2000s, people begged and begged 디즈니 to give them a hand-drawn animated film and when 디즈니 did, the audience blew them off. When 디즈니 gave them the Princess and the Frog, everybody went to see 아바타 instead. And when 디즈니 gave them Winnie the Pooh, everybody went to see Harry Potter 또는 worse the Smurfs instead. Additionally, the audience kept giving 디즈니 mixed ideas whether they want a princess film 또는 not.
Seriously, before Princess and the Frog and Tangled:
people-"No 더 많이 CGI! We want 디즈니 princesses!"
Disney-"Ok!"
After Princess and the Frog and Tangled:
people-"we don't princesses anymore! Our girls want to be like Lindsey Lohan!"
Disney-"WTF!?!"
See, what's wrong here? What gives?

Well from what i understand hand-drawn 애니메이션 costs quite a large amount of money, so making one today would cost even 더 많이 than id did back in the glory days (Disney's glory days). I thought that the Princess and the frog and 라푼젤 are both very well done 영화 that are enjoyed 의해 anybody who is a true 디즈니 fan, if parents want Disney, they need to look what is right in front of them.

Yes, I remembered what 당신 said about hand-drawn 애니메이션 being 더 많이 expensive than CGI. I suppose 디즈니 doesn't have enough money to invest in a hand-drawn animated film yet.

I know what 당신 mean. At first, they complained about 디즈니 영화 being too scary (like Pinnochio, The Hunchback of Notre Dame). Now they are complaining about how 디즈니 is too sugar-coated.

I agree with John Lasseter. It's not about the 애니메이션 quality, it's about the story. I never judge 영화 based on animation. I think it's quite silly to argue over 애니메이션 style, to be quite honest.
