Good-Bye Hug

Skipper bolted into Marlene’s habitat, not even stopping to check if she was in there.

“Marlene I…need…to…talk….to you” He said in-between breaths. He had run all the way from the other side of the zoo faster than he ever had before.

He surveyed the area and saw no signs of Marlene. As his breath finally caught up with him he realized he was alone inside Marlene’s home.

“Marlene?” a confused Skipper asked. He spun around quickly and waddled towards the entrance, “Marlene 당신 there?”

As he was about to exit the cave a brown Asian 수달, 오 터 jumped from above the entrance and landed...

“Whoa, Skipper” said Kowalski, stumbling backwards. “What are 당신 doing?”

“What does it look like I’m doing?” said Skipper. “I’m going to finish this before 당신 seriously hurt someone.” Skipper kicked out at Kowalski and Kowalski did a backflip to avoid it.

“Are 당신 two okay?” Skipper said hurriedly to Private and Rico. Much to Skipper’s surprise, the two penguins ran over to Kowalski and stood in front of him, shielding Kowalski from Skipper.

“Skippa, stop!” said Private. “Kowalski didn’t do anything! And if 당신 want to hurt him, you’ll have to go through us...

The penguins (minus Kowalski, obviously) had just finished the oh so dramatic mission of rescuing a young stray cat from a 나무, 트리 and were heading back to their habitat. Having finally gotten over Kowalski’s departure from the team, Skipper was now attempting to get used to the fact that he needed to call on Private for options and kept calling out Kowalski’s name 의해 accident. Unfortunantly for the team, Private was not at all used to his new post and had come up with some truly ridiculous options when asked to make them up on the spot, including making Rico throw up everything in his stomach...

The penguins were outside early in the morning, practicing like always. Skipper was shouting out commands when all of the sudden, they get an urge to peek at Marlene’s habitat. When they look over, she looks very sad and bored.

“Skippa, what’s going on with Marlene?” Private asks innocently.

“I have no idea, Private.” Skipper turns to Kowalski. “Kowalski, options!”

“Well, uh…we could go ask her if anything is wrong…?”Kowalski answered, but it sounds 더 많이 like a 질문 than an answer.

“Right, let’s go!” With that being said the penguins spring into Marlene’s habitat....
