I don't recall much of what happened after that. There's a breif memory of waking up in a corridor. I could see blurred 이미지 of someone carrying me on a stretcher. Then I passed out again. When I woke up the 초 time, I didn't drift back into unconciousness. Someone jabbed me in the shoulder shouting, "Get up you! Get up!" I sat up in what I realized was a cot in a cell. With a jolt I realized where I was. The enemy prison, and I was their captive. "Get up now!" The creature beside me snapped. He was a manatee, and he wore a white coat. "Who are you?" I asked. Suddenly the manatee's wide flipper smacked me across the face. A gave a cry of pain and stumbled to the floor, newfound pain from my shoulderblade, drowing out the pain on my face.
"Get go'n!" The manatee shouted, whacking me in the hip with a hard stick. I stood up shakily and walked out the door. I found myself in a hallway very much like an underwater tunnel with arched ceilings. The only surface that was flat in the hallway was the steel, cold floor beneath my feet. Leeland had once told me about Captain Blowhole's battle station. It was submerged fifty feet below in the mediteranian. I realized that for a prisoner, this was the worst place to be confined. Escape was impossible, unless 당신 had a submarine docked at the station, ready to use as transportation. I obviously didn't. "Move!" The manatee urged, I saw the stick 그네, 스윙 into my line of veiw. The 다음 thing I knew the stick had whacked me across the eyes. I was sure that would leave a mark. I turned and walked down the corridor. Behind me the manatee bound my flippers together and gave me a hard shove, making me stumble into a door. Without the use of my flippers I couldn't stopp my fall. I bowled into the door and shot through into the room, landing on my face. I looked up. The room was enourmous. There were vaulted ceilings stretching up to a dome. The dome was made of thick glass so 당신 could see the undersea world all around you. 물고기 swam in schools overhead. Bubbles rose from the station to the surface. I was so taken aback 의해 it that I didn't even notice the manatee behind me. The nest thing I knew he had me, whacking me over and over with the stick. Then suddenly, over the shouts of pain on my part, and the manatee's furious growls, I heard a strong voice shout, "Stop!" Even after the beating stopped I kept my eyes closed tight, curled into a defensive ball, shivering. The hum of a segway neared me and I heard the voice again, "Dr.Clayton," he said, I assumed he was addressing the manatee, "You're dissmissed. I will deal with the penguin." The strange voice said. "B-but Captain I-I-" The manatee stuttered.
"-That's an order Clayton!! 당신 can leave alive 또는 dead. Which do 당신 prefer?"
I didn't see the manatee, but I heard him stumble backwards, then flop quickly out of the room. The slam of the door echoed in the huge room. I trembled. I figured this was my time. I was toast. Then I felt a soft, gentle flipper on my shoulder. I looked up into the face of a dolphin. It wasn't a mean, cruel face. It was actually a very inviting one. His expression was serious, but I saw a hint of pleasant comfort in his eyes. "Stand up." he ordered. I shuffled to my feet, standing erect. "You must be-"
"-Captain Blowhole. Yes, I am." The 돌고래 replied. He puttered away from me on his segway. I followed, confused. Why was he being so pleasant? He killed my father out of cold blood. He hated my family. He wanted me dead. This made no sense. "What are y-"
"-Trying to accomplish? Well, glad 당신 asked. 당신 see Fahlcon, you're the last link to your father that Denmark has. The Copenhagen 펭귄 Alliegance needed a man like Frankie, and 당신 were the man. But now, I have you. I can do whatever I want with you. Even as far as killing you, AND your entire family."
"You leave my family alone 또는 I'll-" I leaped at him, but he grabbed my flipper and thrust me down, "-You'll what? From what I've heard 당신 abandonned your family. 당신 hate them." Blowhole jeered. "No! I don't hate them! I was wrong!" I shouted. Blowhole chuckled and steered the segway to another part of the room, "This was all too easy. All I needed was one lowsy, back-biting tramp like 당신 in order to use your mistakes against your family." I felt a growl rise in my throat, then it stopped, "If 당신 lay a cold, dead flipper on them.."
"-What could 당신 possibly do to save them now? As far as they know you're dead. Leeland is injured and has no idea where 당신 are. There's nothing 당신 can do. And if 당신 try to escape, I'll KILL you, do 당신 understand?" My eyes grew wide. He was right. There was nothing I could do now. My family..they had no hope. It was all my fault. "What do 당신 want with me Blowhole? Kill me if 당신 have to, but spare my family!" I said.
"What could I possibly barter for from you?" Blowhole asked. I started to reply, then I realized my answer could spell my end. I spoke anyway, "You hated my father, 당신 wanted him dead and 당신 got your wish. He was a threat to you. My family isn't but / am! Killing them won't do 당신 any good." I replied.
"So..you're saying I should kill 당신 instead..? Hm..I feel the need for revenge is great. Perhaps I will do just that." Blowhole muttered. I stood my ground, ready for anything. Blowhole spoke again, "But why not have a little FUN why'll I'm at it..?" Blowhole wheeled around and pressed a button on his segway, "Dr.Clayton, send Flippy down to watch a 'show'." I heard the 'affirmative' reply. I had heard about Blowhole's son Flippy, but I'd never met him before. Now the young 돌고래 rode out of a hatch door on a segway of his own. He looked..well like a dolphin. But his expression wasn't like his father's. Flippy's eyes gleamed with hate and evil. Blowhole reached for something that I recognised imediately. Before I could react, Dr.Clayton thrust me towards Blowhole. "Now," Blowhole mused, "We'll have some fun." He swung the whip in his flippers and it struck the 벽 with a crack. I shivered. Dr.Clayton tied me to a beam, my back facing Blowhole. I pressed my cheek against the hard surface of the beam, clenching my eyes shut. I heard the crack. And the pain wasn't far behind.
