THE role of Brianna Randall in Outlander season two may have been filled, according to reports.
Movie News Guide have revealed several footages of audition tapes were leaked on the Internet and these clips featured actresses vying to play the role of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall\'s (Caitriona Balfe) daughter.
Fans got very excited when they heard Maeve Foley had joined the cast of the show - with many believing the 22-year-old had been cast in the role of Brianna.
The show\'s co-executive producer Maril Davis has taken to Twitter to dampen the rumours over the casting.
After the show\'s unit driver Dàibhidh Stiùbhart announced Maeve had joined the Outlander clan, some fans asked if there would be an announcement soon.
But Maril cleared up the debate when she simply responded "nope".

Last month, executive producer Ron D. Moore confirmed that Brianna would make an appearance .
Many of the videos show the actors speaking about how Jamie Fraser wore a hat to conceal his conceal his ginger hair as he tried to avoid being captured.
Show bosses have yet to announce who will play the role of the 20-year-old redhead in the series.
A casting call for the crucial role of Brianna had been announced earlier this year.
The show’s character description of Brianna paints her as an American girl in her twenties who’s strong-minded, intelligent beyond her years with an effortless charm and sparkling sense of humour.
Producers were looking for a tall actress (5’8” and over) to play “earthly, grounded and not girly” Brianna, wrapped in the “inexperience and vulnerability” of being a young woman.
Filming for the second season of the show, which is based on author Diana Gabaldon \'s second book Dragonfly in Amber, is well underway.
The story sees Claire and Jamie Fraser flee Scotland for France to seek out Bonnie Prince Charlie.
And Gabaldon’s second book kicks off in the 1960s with Claire and Brianna visiting Reverend Wakefield\'s adopted son Roger in Scotland.
