ANOTHER block of Outlander season two filming has been completed, according to one of the show’s base runners.
Jessica Bergeault, who is currently working on a second series of the hit show, revealed on Twitter there will be another two blocks of filming before production is finished.
She tweeted: “Another block finished, two more to go. Time flies! #outlander”
Earlier this year, executive producer Ron D. Moore revealed the second series of the Starz time travel series is set to premiere in March or April of next year .
Taking part in a Twitter Q&A , Ron gave fans hope that an end to the Droughlander was in sight.
The show\'s second season, which is based on Diana Gabaldon \'s second book Dragonfly in Amber, sees Claire and Jamie flee Scotland for France to seek out Bonnie Prince Charlie.
And while fans still have a little way to go before their favourite characters return to their screens, they will be pleased with these encouraging words from the producer.
Ron also revealed that, while a date hasn\'t officially been set, work on the show was going "really well".
When asked by Twitter user @AnnaOgora how production was going on season two, Ron replied: "Really well. Show looks amazing, cast is superb, story working - very optimistic."
Outlander\'s cast and crew were recently spotted filming the new season in the Czech Republic capital of Prague.
The city was transformed to resemble Paris of the 1740s in the new series, where much of the action takes place.
Pictures taken by fans on the set revealed the new costumes Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be wearing when the show returns.
It appears the characters have ditched the darker colours of the Highlands for brighter tones in Paris.
Although much of the second book is based in the French capital, Scotland will still have a huge part to play – much to the delight of tourism bosses.
And the show was recently filmed in locations across the country.
In June Dysart Harbour, in Fife, was transformed into a 1700s-themed set.
And last month, two of the show\'s main characters, Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies, were also spotted shooting a crucial duel in Glasgow\'s Pollok Park .
