Taylor Swift, One Direction and more headed to Levi’s Stadium

Taylor Swift quietly released the details of her 1989 World Tour yesterday, including one of the first announced concert dates at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on Aug. 15, 2015. No ticket details were released but it wouldn’t be a bad idea to start lining up at the nearest TicketTron outlet now.

Last month, the multi-platinum boy-band One Direction announced a July 11 date at the new home of the San Francisco 49ers. Tickets for that show go on sale on 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at www.livenation.com.

Country music stars Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean, meanwhile, are pegged to perform the inaugural concert at Levi’s on May 2, bringing together Chesney’s the Big Revival Tour and Aldean’s the Burn It Down Tour. Ticket sale information and dates will be announced in the coming weeks at www.AEGLive.com.
