BECOMING "THE DARK ONE"
I have a confession to make. I am a little disappointed at how Emma 백조 became the new "Dark One". She did so 의해 committing a noble act. And I find that . . . unsatisfying.
The Season One episode, (1.08) "Desperate Soul" revealed that Rumpelstiltskin had originally become "the Dark One" when he was recruited 의해 the title's 이전 holder, Zoso, to find the dagger that would either allow the former to control him 또는 acquire magical power 의해 killing him.
