I've been meaning to create this 기사 ever since Ariel had appeared on Once Upon A Time and I never got to it until now. At least now I'll be able to have a stable list until season 5 comes around. These characters are my personal favorites and I might make my 상단, 맨 위로 10 WORST characters list sometime. But for now, it's the 상단, 맨 위로 favorites. Anyway, keep in mind that this is just my personal opinion, so don't be rude. Enjoy!

10.Henry

I know that this is actually a very unpopular opinion because no one besides me has him as one of their favorites. But I personally 사랑 this little boy. I 사랑 how he just believes in the best in people and never gives up on them. Yes, he did see the worst in Regina at the beginning but she did lie to him and made him feel crazy. However, once he saw that she really did truly 사랑 him, he stopped at nothing to help her. I especially 사랑 him in the season 4 finale where he's the one who gets to go and save the day. He says he wants to be able to be a hero and not just some little boy who has to constantly be saved like most children in fairy-tales. He finally gets to have 더 많이 development and show that he's much 더 많이 than he appears to be. He (along with Regina, of course) is the one who saves everyone and becomes the new author. He's a great and underrated character in my opinion. However, he's not higher because he's just not as interesting as the others.

9.Cruella De Vil

One of our 더 많이 unique villains because they make her and irredeemable villain that doesn't have a sympathetic backstory but instead is a completely murderous psychopath. Forget Norman Bates, this woman is the best cereal killer EVER! I 사랑 her style and charisma, she just carries herself in such an epic manner that is just hard to explain. She's clever, manipulative, crazy, cold, unfeeling, and despicable. However, unlike Peter Pan, who is also despicable, she's actually an entertaining character. The reason is because she has a mental illness and therefore was born this way, Peter Pan is just a one-dimensional villain that isn't entertaining ever (hell, in my opinion the original animated character was terrible and despicable too). I 사랑 how she takes what 당신 사랑 most and pretty much uses it to destroy you. I also think it's both scary and awesome that she actually got her dalmatian skinned coat. WOW! I can only imagine how that went. However, one thing that does bug me is how her 팬 are mad at Emma for killing her. NEWS FLASH, she was threatening Emma's son. Regina would've done the same thing and likely would've been praised for it. Besides, if I was Emma, I wouldn't care if there were other options, if someone threatens my family, they're DEAD! NO QUESTION! Besides, it's not like Cruella was ever a good person, so it's no big deal. Anyway, I prefer characters with 더 많이 depth, although it's odd because I prefer both the animated and the Glenn Close versions of Cruella over this one, who don't have as much depth as this one does. But none of 당신 better hate her because she's like a 거미 waiting for the kill and if she doesn't scare you, no evil thing will. Sorry, I just had to get in a bad pun lol.

8.Ruby

I can't believe I forgot how much I ADORE her! I miss her SO MUCH and am glad that she's coming back in season 5 as a recurring character. I 사랑 her sassy attitude while also being a badass. However, she's not a rude stick in the mud, she's really kind and caring. She's dedicated to her grandmother and her friends. She's willing to do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves, even if it means hurting herself. Plus she's the most beautiful character on the show, though that has nothing to do with her character. She's clever, badass, resourceful, determined, and a wonderful friend. I wish she was back as a main character like she was in season 2 but at least she'll be a recurring character again in season 5. She's not higher because I find the others 더 많이 interesting.

7.Ingrid/The Snow Queen

I'll be honest, I was a 팬 of the first half of season 4 because of the stupid 겨울왕국 story ark, which most people seem to agree with, heck, even critics agree that the 겨울왕국 story ark was WAY too gimmicky. However, one thing people seem to agree on is that Ingrid was a great character and... yeah, she is. Why couldn't they just made her Jadis from The Chronicles of Narnia and get rid of the 겨울왕국 story ark crap. We have enough 겨울왕국 crap going around, we don't need it ruining Once Upon A Time. Anyway, Ingrid is everything Elsa lacks. She's a well-written character with a believable backstory that explains her actions and has a three-dimensional personality. I 사랑 how she loved and wanted to protect her sisters but didn't keep it a secret from them and cause 더 많이 problems like it did with Elsa and Anna. She has style, deep down has a good heart, she's complex, sympathetic, clever, charismatic, well-developed, and actually does redeem herself. I admire how she actually sacrificed her life to save everyone from the mistake she made. She was so angry at her sister's betrayal and being called a monster 의해 one of the people she cared about the most that she decided to no longer care and just let it go. But she truly loved her sisters, Elsa, Emma, and after learning the truth, Anna. She finally is able to forgive, take her hatred and let it go 의해 saving everyone but killing herself in the process. She's not higher because the others are just 더 많이 interesting in my opinion.

6.Robin Hood

I know he's gotten some hate with the whole Reina-Marian/Zelena situation but it's not his fault. Imagine your dead wife comes back after many years when you've fallen in 사랑 with someone else and it turns out that it's an imposter that you've gotten pregnant. How would 당신 react to this? It's really complicated and it would be difficult for anyone to decide how to deal with it. Plus, all along he felt like there was something off about the Fake Marian, which was that it was Zelena. He still loved Marian SO MUCH but just felt like there was something wrong. He remembered his 사랑 for her and felt horrible that he couldn't figure it out until the truth was revealed. But anyway, I 사랑 how he's just so nobel and will save even the life of the most evil person, meaning Rumple. That shows that in my opinion, Robin is the purest of 심장 on the show. He'll help anyone, even if it means inconveniencing himself, which I really admire. He always does the right thing and I respect him for it. Plus, he makes my Regina happy and that gives him MEGA points! He does anything for the ones he loves and along with that, only steals to help benefit others, never himself. He's not higher because, to be honest, while he's awesome and very interesting, he's a little generic compared to the others.

5.Rumpelstiltskin

Every since the last few episodes of season 3, my opinion on Rumple has changed constantly and I haven't been able to have a solid opinion on him. I mean, he had so much character development and they just threw it away. However, after thinking about it during the season 4 finale, it makes sense why he's this way. It's the curse of being the Dark One. He's cursed to always make bad decisions because his 심장 has become black. He's not called the Dark One for no reason. Why do 당신 think the Dark One that came before him was trying to let himself die and have Rumple take his place? It's because the darkness consumes 당신 until you're nothing but just a hollow shell of your former self. So I blame the curse of the Dark One 더 많이 than I do Rumple himself. However, considering all that he's been able to do, which is probably 더 많이 than any other Dark One has been able to do, it's very impressive. He actually sacrificed himself to save everyone from Pan's wrath and was even willing to die in Neverland to save Henry. He was trying to fight the darkness all through season 2 and 3 for the ones he loved but the darkness is too strong. It's so strong that only Merlin can destroy it. So no one, unless they're holding the dagger, can control 또는 conquer the darkness. So Rumple is such a complex character that I've grown to ADORE once again. He's not higher because he does still annoy me in season 4.

4.Zelena/The Wicked Witch of The West

I was excited as could be when I found out that she would be the 다음 villain and was bad as hell that she was killed off, 또는 so we thought. When I found out she was alive I was jumping around saying "Let the joyous news be spread! The Wicked Witch of The West is alive!" She's an amazing villain and is also sympathetic. I 사랑 how this show does get into the psychological side of the villains. Her mother abandoned her, she was only loved 의해 her adopted mother, her adopted father was abusive, and her amazing gift had to be hid. I'm so sad that she 로스트 her magic. I mean, I don't want her to hurt anyone but I wish she had her magic. Stupid Glinda putting the 목걸이 on her before she could decide for herself! I 사랑 that she has such style and charisma to her. I also ADORE her accent and how she just enjoys every 분 of how evil she is. She's such an incredible character that I really want to get to redeem herself because her life was just as hard as Regina's. I actually 사랑 her 더 많이 than The Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch 또는 the Wicked Witch from the musical Wicked. She's an amazing character but the others are in my 상단, 맨 위로 20 가장 좋아하는 fictional characters.

3.Anastasia Tremaine/The Red Queen

I ADORE this lady, she's SO underrated! I am kind of cheating on this one, since she's from the spin-off and not the original show. But it's my list and I can do whatever the hell I want. Besides, we've seen an illustration of her in season 4 and we're likely going to see her in the show, since Will the Asshole Cyrus is on the show for no good reason. Anyway, I 사랑 how she has a lot of style, charisma, and sass to her. Emma Rigby is the perfect person to play her, who always gives a great performance as her. She has A TON of great likes that I just 사랑 hearing her say with her lovely accent. I feel so sorry for her because she's really emotionally abused 의해 her own mother, which leads to her making so many bad choices. I do admire how she's only doing bad things in the show because she's trying to change the laws of magic, so she can change the past and the the mistake of leaving Will for a crown. She even hopes Will will get his 심장 back because he deserves to 사랑 someone, even if it isn't her. She's such an incredible character and unless she's in the show, Will has no point of being in the show. So they need to either bring 아나스타샤 on the show 또는 they need to get rid of Will. She's the only reason I watched the inferior spin-off. She also helped me learn how to appreciate Regina more. Since she was the only good character on the show, I knew how to appreciate her 더 많이 because I didn't care about the other characters. Regina on the other hand, was surrounded 의해 TONS of characters that I 사랑 and I hated to see her be so mean to them, especially Emma, so I did resent Regina. So it's thanks to 아나스타샤 that I grew to 사랑 and appreciate Regina more, in fact, I ended up loving her 더 많이 than Anastasia. Ana is such a great character and the fact that she's the counterpart to one of my 가장 좋아하는 디즈니 characters, makes me 사랑 her even more. However, she's can't beat my 상단, 맨 위로 2 because they're in my 상단, 맨 위로 10 가장 좋아하는 fictional characters.

2.Emma 백조 and Regina

It's hard to decide which one of these two I 사랑 more, which I've been trying to decide for a long time but I just can't. I mean, they're both really similar, even if they are different. They're both clever, gorgeous, protective of the ones they love, are complex, make mistakes, try to make up for their mistakes, are stubborn, brave, are pretty much loners, have had tragic lives, have relationship problems, are afraid to get close to anyone (except Henry), are complete badasses, and are two of some of the most well-developed fictional characters EVER (top 10 easily). They've both grown so much and have evolved into the 히어로즈 that they are today and won't let anyone define who they are. They're hard journey's have made them stronger and wiser. It's no wonder that they were enemies at first and later became such good friends, they're very different but also just as equally similar. They compliment each other very well. They both have great one-liners and don't take crap from anyone. They're both also willing to sacrifice for the ones they love. Such as Regina (when she didn't even remember Henry) was willing to die to save Henry and Emma was willing to become the Dark One in order to save Regina and make sure her hard work wasn't all for nothing. The two of them are the perfect duo *knows someone will bring up 백조 Queen* and NOT in that way! Geez, what's wrong with 당신 people? Emma is Regina's step-granddaughter, that's pretty much incest! Besides, they both have their good looking bad boys, they'll live happily ever after with them. So who could possibly beat these two? Well, no matter how well-written these two are, no one will ever beat my 가장 좋아하는 character!

1.Ariel

I absolutely ADORE this Little Mermaid and actually wish she was in the show more! I wish she was a main character! I mean, get rid of Will, he's hardly even in season 4! So what's the point of him being there? He does absolutely nothing! Anyway, Ariel is such an incredible character and so charming. I 사랑 how her personality is glows and shines throughout every scene she's in. She has such a big personality but it's not forced 또는 all over the place like it is with Anna. I admire how all the other 인어 are murderous and not trustworthy but Ariel is actually someone who dares to break that mold. Something Ursula started but Ariel decided to continue 의해 saving humans from drowning. She's brave, smart, funny, sweet, kind, caring, badass, awesome, charming, has a personality that just shines, is a good friend, never turns her back on people she cares about, is optimistic, is feisty, heroic, and absolutely gorgeous. She's an amazing character that I wish was one of the main characters. She definitely should've played a bigger part during Ursula's story ark. I 사랑 her just as much as the animated 디즈니 character. No matter what, she'll always be my 가장 좋아하는 character on the show.
