How do SwanFire and Snowing parallel each other?

I've seen people say that SwanFire and Snowing parallel each other, but I don't understand how. Neal gave up on Emma and their relationship and moved on with another woman, the opposite of Snowing. So how are they parallels? (Note: This has nothing to do with CaptainSwan)

I wouldn't say he gave up on her (that seems a bit extreme). He sacrificed his wishes 의해 letting her go so she live the life she needed to. In a way Snow did that when King George made her tell Charming that she didn't 사랑 him. Anyway, I think the video PrincessVandal 게시됨 will answer your 질문 :)

Wow, I know I'm not the one posting the 질문 but thanks so much for posting^.^ The video is truly amazing. I didn't even bother answering cuz I was only able to think up like two paralles on my own haha. Btw, I find it curious (and awesome) that there are also a lot of Neal/Snow and Emma/Charming parallels. This video made me like both couples more:) *votes best answer*

But [i]true[/i] 사랑 doesn't give up 또는 옮기기 on. Sure, he regretted it, but he still did it and even after he received the postcard, never went back for her even if just to apologize for leaving her the way he did. It's convenient for him to not give up now that Tamara betrayed him. That would also make Emma a rebound and 초 pick. Like "Oh, so my fiancee turned out to be a psycho. But you're looking good. Want to get together?" No, it didn't happen like that. But it's a pretty close equivalent in my book. Snow and Charming never gave up on each other throughout their obstacles, Neal gave up on Emma when their first major obstacle popped up. The 초 he found out who she was, he walked away from her. Charming would have never done that to Snow, no matter who was telling him to do it. Charming would have found another way. Sure, there are details of their relationships that parallel each other. But looking at the big picture, I just don't see how.
