Heinrich traveled with the circus for a couple months, surviving in the city on 불, 화재 that Berlin had became. The circus was ten people strong with notable people being the dwarf, the clown, the bearded lady and the tightrope walker.
"We should be reaching that hole soon." The bearded lady spoke out. "What will we do when we split?"
"Hoho, I will travel like a leaf in the wind...where ever it shall take me." The clown said with a grin, dancing around.
"Right..well I'm swimming to bloody fookin Ireland- see if there's any left." The dwarf commented. "What about you, Daisy?"
"I'm not sure yet. I'll explore a bit of the countryside I guess and just try to survive." 데이지 looked over at Heinrich. "What about you?"
"I don't know. I want to survive." Heinrich commented out as they approached a massive hole in the wall.
"Finally!" The clown giggled before having something sharp go through his spine- Heinrich's makeshift spear. He was taken to his knees, paralyzed as he laughed before Heinrich pulled it out and swatted him in the head, knocking him unconscious.
"He was loud." Heinrich simply said before walking through the hole- blood dripping on his weapon as he looked towards south towards the forests. "Thanks for the help."
"Lad..." The dwarf said. "Don't be too blood thirsty now- it ain't right."
"No, THIS is not right!" Heinrich pointed back before smiling. "The world is dead dwarf! The sooner 당신 learn that, the sooner 당신 can start to live on!" He barked out.
"Such anger in a child." The bearded lady said. "You'll be a monster with that attitude."
"Then I guess I'll be half of 당신 then, won't I?" Heinrich asked before bringing out his spear.
"Hey, no." 데이지 came at his side and slapped him. "What would your mother think of what 당신 are doing?"
Heinrich looked down, hearing the mention of his mother and beginning to walk towards the forests now- his bloodthirst a bit calmer as 데이지 followed him. A half 일 passed before he finally looked back, looking over at her before sighing. "Why did 당신 follow me?"
"You'll die if your alone." 데이지 said to him.
"Okay and that's a problem?" Heinrich asked.
"Yeah that's a fucking problem! Nobody should be dying."
"Happens anyways." Heinrich commented before sighing again, looking at her. "I know you've been around me a couple months...but...you know I don't need a friend, okay? I don't want one. Go."
"No."
Heinrich blinked twice, not expecting that answer. "Why?"
"Because I feel bad for 당신 and it reminds me of the novels I read. Where the empathetic, beautiful girl swoops in and saves someone who needs it." 데이지 said with her hands on sides.
"Leave the saving to Jesus." Heinrich said before turning back around, continuing to walk for the night while 데이지 gave him the emotional 우주 he needed, following him while her wires were slung on her shoulder. They managed to avoid the beasts, finding their way to a small hunters 선실, 캐빈 where Heinrich opened the door, seeing the former owner dead in a chair with a exit wound from the back of his head- brains splattered on the wall. "It stinks." He commented before pulling the man down, looking at the cup of coffee he had from months prior, drinking it as his first drink of the day.
"Heinrich!"
"I'm fucking thirsty!" Heinrich yelled out before setting it down, wiping his mouth before taking the pistol- five rounds left and putting it in his 코트 before looking out the window and seeing forests beasts shaped like 늑대 begin to come out. "Daisy, beasts!"
"I got it!" 데이지 said as she held onto her wire, tying the door shut as they circled around the cabin, growling and snarling. Heinrich was no longer afraid but he was uncertain of victory, taking some of the gasoline for the mans generator and stuffing a rag in it, lighting the rag before opening the window and throwing it out, causing a 불, 화재 that began to spread across the dry ground of the forest.
"No!" Heinrich screamed as the 선실, 캐빈 began to catch blaze. The beasts began to go wild, ramming at the door as 데이지 held her 칼, 나이프 shaking. The beast burst through, knocking the door against 데이지 and snarling as it leaped through the air to attack Heinrich. He side stepped, panting before pulling out his gun and firing twice, only making the beast angry. He ran and picked up daisy, running as the 불, 화재 began to spread. The 선실, 캐빈 began to catch even 더 많이 ablaze, very dry and began to collapse down, giving him the time to run. Heinrich ran until it was dark, hearing the howling throughout his flight and feeling followed, hearing foot steps everywhere he went.
"Heinrich...where are we?" 데이지 asked, waking up.
"Shh." Heinrich said as he walked through a swamp, seeing a thousand eyes stare at him with their yellow gaze through the trees. He walked through the river, feeling the stares but not being attacked as he waded through the river, shivering as he held her, feeling every muscle in his body burn but his will to get them out of there burn brighter.
It was when the 일 finally came that he found himself out from the swamp, to a highway that had collapsed from a battle- a semi truck on it's side. He climbed up the side and crawled into with her, going to the side and taking some of the pillows from the 침대 in the truck and laying against it with her.
"Heinrich."
"Yes Daisy?"
"Did 당신 save my life?"
"Yeah." Heinrich sighed.
"See. I knew 당신 were a good guy."
"Oh shut up." Heinrich rolled his eyes. "I couldn't let 당신 be dog chow."
"Maybe not then." 데이지 laughed weakly. "Is there any water?"
"Yeah." Heinrich grabbed a water bottle that was laying around, giving it to her before looking down. "You know I miss it."
"What?"
"The old world." Heinrich bit his lip, holding in his tears. "It's...so terrible, this world."
"In new ways...yeah it is." 데이지 smiled. "But it's not too bad."
"I'm...alive."
"We're alive." 데이지 reached up and gave Heinrich a slight peck on his lips.
"........whoa." Heinrich raised his eyebrows. "That was interesting."
