Personally the contract reshuffle was the key to me if Moss was gonna go to New England for the football or the money... the fact he took a pay cut (WAS on $10mil, now something closer to $3mil), the fact he's not guaranteed a place in Foxboro beyond this year, it shows he wants to go out a winner.

This is the guy that was once seen as one of the most exciting and impact players at the turn of the century. But then he went to Oakland, it all went wrong, Art Shell was re-appointed and Moss fell out of favour.

Then the talk of "he's past it" came about when personally I don't think he has, it's just that Randy Moss plays when he wants to play and he feels passionate about a team and the fans, with Oakland, he just didn't feel it.
