Why do people get SOO obsessed with MLP. I been watching it all this time. And it's not even the greatest show I've ever seen, it's enjoyable, but forgettable

That is a matter of opinion. And that opinion is why no person can truly answer your question. Because in the end, it all comes down to what we think about the show. I 사랑 it, and it's probably my 가장 좋아하는 show at the moment. But that is, similar to your situation, in great part because of the fandom. I would never say, though, that the show is forgettable. 당신 feel it is forgettable, however, and as such, will never be able to 100% understand why other people will get as into as they do, because your views on the show's 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 quality do not match theirs, and probably never could, if your feeling that it is forgettable is anything to go by. We all have our tastes and opinions on certain things. It's like if 당신 tried to explain to me why people find South Park so funny. I don't find it especially funny, and even if 당신 tried to explain, our opinions just differ in such a way that I wouldn't be able to understand how it's considered so funny, other than just admitting that people have different tastes. That is all.

Because it has great characters, animation. storyline, etc. It's the greatest show I've seen, and it is NEVER forgettable. Sonic Boom, however- The hell with it. It and it's video game counterpart are so terrible they're easily forgettable. The Sonic franchise sucks now, and may they fade into obscurity. Why are 당신 being such an arrogant prick about it? No one wants to hear 당신 complain about it, and I hope other 팬 give 당신 what 당신 deserve.

It depends upon the person. I mean,people have different tastes like with music...some like modern 음악 while others think the old ones were better,so I guess it can also be applied here. I can't really say I'm "obsessed" with the show though,more like I'm with the "I'm a big fan" part,I think the show is great but I don't talk about it 24/7 and honestly,I don't even have as much MLP merchandise as other fans...pretty much just a toy I got from McDonalds and a CD for Equestria Girls. :)

I respect your opinion- 당신 deserve to like and dislike whatever 당신 choose. ;)
Now, i am not speaking for entire Brony community, just for myself. Here's the list of things i like about the show:
-Characters: Yes, they aren't exactly original and some of them are pretty stereotypical, but they are still fun, memorable, likeable and i like to watch them,
-Storylines: 당신 can pretty much re-read what i said about characters. XD No, they aren't very original, but they are fun to watch, they are likeable and even memorable
-Songs: Very catchy and beautiful. :)
-Animation: I think this show is giving Flash 애니메이션 good name. Is bright, colorful and fluid. Is nice to look at.
But that's just my opinion.
