I adore Gilliams films, (I even managed to stammer "I like your films" to him when I met him ::facepalm::) but I adore Spamalot even more currently. I may change my mind later...

It was even between Spamalot and Michael Palin's travel books, but Spamalot won. Although I lve to read about Micahel Palin's journeys.

I adore Cleese's A FISH CALLED WANDA (one of my most favourite comedies EVER!), Palin's journeys and, most of all, SPAMALOT, which was my top theatrical event of last year (and I'm a frequent theatre- goer). However, Gilliam is one of the best directors alive today and I'm one of his biggest fans- and supporters, as he seems to be always in trouble with the studios, the producers, etc. Gilliam rocks!

This was a difficult pick, but I adore Michael Palin's adventures around the world. They're funny and educational! That being said, Gilliam's a fantastic director, John Cleese has done some great things, and I'd love to see Spamalot!
