She woke screaming, her hands clenching the sheets in her hands so tight that her fingers were white. She looked around the room as she tried to figure out where she was 또는 what was going on. She felt the warmth of her dog pressed against her side, she knew this room with it's pale green walls, the hardwood floors that lay beneath her bed.

She takes a few deep breaths as she tries to calm herself, she's had many disturbing dreams before but none like this..none that she could remember. She vividly remembered the white of the snow, the cool snow crunching under her feet as she ran. Ran from what? Ran from who?

She tried closing her eyes, doing everything she could to remember her dream..it had been SO real. She remembered running, the sound of her feet hitting the snow so hard that she swore she should have snow burn 또는 cuts on the bottoms of her feet. It all seemed silly as she pulled back the blanket from her 침대 and looked down at her feet.

It was like someone poured ice water down her back, her entire core 겨울왕국 as she saw that the bottoms of her feet were bright red, scratches and cuts covering most of her feet. She reached down and gently touched the edge of a cut, realizing quickly that her feet were raw, that walking was not going to be enjoyable..at least not for a while.

"Alexandra!!" My mother yelled from down stairs. "Get out of 침대 now! I will not tell 당신 again!"

"Alexandra." I mocked my mothers voice as I sighed and eased my feet over the edge of the floor, putting just the slightest pressure on my toes. The pain was not like anything I have known, I would imagine this is close to the sensation 당신 get when a person walks through hot coals.

I grab onto the bed, my breath coming out ragged as the pain races up my feet and into my legs causing the worst cramps I've ever had. I knew that I don't deal well with pain, and I've never felt anything like this..I knew I was most likely going to pass out but before I did I swear on everything and anything 당신 want me to that I heard a male voice...it's tone mocking as he said "We'll meet again, and he won't save you." Then everything went black
