Appearance = lust.

Well, the thing is, and it sounds horrible, but physical appearances are necessary in order to form a romantic relationship. We learned about it in my psychology class, and appearances are the factor that makes one interested.

However...

Actions can quickly turn off whatever attraction was gained because of appearances. Or, they can turn a person on even more. Actions are what makes a person fall in love.

However, this love isn't possible without an initial attraction.

So really, it's both for everybody. Action causes actual love, but the initial attraction necessary for interest requires physical attraction based off of appearances. So really, it's both.

well when i first meet my bf i was friends with him for the good actions and stuff but when i started to like him i saw he was cute a really really adorable

i could run into the hottest guy in the world but if he always gets arrested gets tickets or does drugs then no thx

Well sometimes you get interested by looks, but then their actions turn you off.

Or, you don't think they're physically attractive, but you forget that because of their actions.

"I love you because you're pretty." - Lust? Or a crush.

"I love you because you're beautiful on the inside." - Love. Definitely. (If he/she means it of course.)

you could be with someone for their looks and their actions could be messed up so ALWAYS go for actions

Pretty shallow to "love" someone based on their looks.

You don't love somebody cuz of his/her look...You love him/her cuz of his/her personality...physical look can only make you like somebody but you end up lOvInG him/her cuz of their actions!

Looks are just a bonus,and usually someone liking another just because of the way they look is usually a sign of lust,I usually "like" a girl for their personality and the way they treats themself and the people around them,rather than looks,I mean looks are looks.

while looks are nice. i have dated some wonderful guys who were downright ugly. its whats inside that counts

It's what's on the inside that counts. And I used to love ppl based on appearance and I fell in love with total jerks. I dated a guy cuz he wuz hawt and he turned out to be emotionally abusive. So I now go based on actions and insides. :|

The two guys I love the most in this world (beside my family) doesn't look THAT hot, but everything I love them fore is their actions... Always have, always will... lol of course, I doubt they'll get a plastic surgery xD

A bit of both what they do and say comes first but also he needs to at the very least have nice brown eyes to get me interested.
