Is he using me even just as a friend?

I'm known to give my 프렌즈 gifts around the holidays no matter what holiday. I gave my friend/crush a cute 곰 for valentines day. He knew I was going to get him something but he didn't know what. Before I gave it to him he said "is it 캔디 I hope it's candy" and then when I gave him the 곰 and a lollipop he tried to give the 곰 away to his 프렌즈 right in front of me but he popped the lollipop right in his mouth. My 프렌즈 say he was being a jerk and that he's using me. I know that he was a jerk but I still really like him and I don't know why. Do 당신 people thinks he's using me and should I confront him about trying to give it away?
