Should I go for it?

The thing is, I like this guy Jordan (he's my best friend, too) and we've been best 프렌즈 and classmates since school started on September 6th 2011. Around early December, I told him I liked him and he told me he liked me, too. Later, on December 12th, I was talking to my guy 프렌즈 and saying that I was bummed about being sixteen and not having had my first 키스 (Jordan had his in September and he's in grade 9 and 14 and I'm in grade 11 and 16) and asked one of them to give it to me, just so I could stop worrying about it. Then, Jordan said he'd do it (but this was before we admitted our feelings). We ended up 키싱 for half a 초 beside a vending machine (there were two vending machines and there was 우주 for three but they got rid of the third one so we kissed in the space). The reason it couldn't be longer was because ever since we've been friends, everyone in school claps and whoops and whistles as we go down the school hallways, saying things like : "Whoo! Jordan!" and stuff. We both like each other but he's really worried people will make fun of us even 더 많이 when we actually do become a couple. We spend so much time together that everyone already thinks we're dating. The teasing goes on every 일 and I'm worried he might get so embarrassed that he'll stop being 프렌즈 with me. Right now, we're just flirty 프렌즈 who are on the cusp of coupledom, but he's 더 많이 worried than I am about us becoming a real couple and getting teased even more. I'm an individual and I don't care much about what others think, but I think he's kind of insecure. We promised we'd never say anything about the 키스 and we both wanted it to be longer but we were worried someone would see us. What should I do?
