The last period of the day, finally.
I got in my 좌석 and got out my Religons book and notes. When I looked around the room, I noticed Light and I were the only ones there. He looked just as bored as I did just waiting there...
I blushed lightly as I stared at him. Our seats weren't very far so I could see him closely. Every flawless angle...
As I stared, I must have bumped my 책상, 데스크 because my pencil rolled off my 책상, 데스크 and straight toward him!
He looked down at it then looked at me, "I bleive 당신 dropped this..." he picked it up and came over to me to give it back. "U-uh yeah...thanks..." I took it from him, our hands brushing past as I did so. I blushed deeply and dropped it. He looked at me in a 'are 당신 kidding me?' look and picked it up off the floor and laid it on my desk.
"S-sorry," I stammered.
"It's okay. But 당신 know 당신 don't have to act so nervous around me. I won't bite."
"I know that!" I snapped, flustterd.
Light gave me a look then laughed, "You're cute. Say, haven't I seen 당신 somewhere else before? Like along time ago."
"Yeah back in grade school. We were in the same class till I moved away..."
"Hey, that's right! What was your name? Sazami? Sanami-"
"Suzuki. Suzuki Kagomi."
"Right! I do remember 당신 now."
I smiled a little and we continued to talk till the 벨 rang and class started. "Okay, class, turn to page 28 in your books," the teacher said as he wrote on the board and everyone followed his instructions. Once he was done writting, he opened his book and started to read till it got to the english part, "Yagami, would 당신 mind translating the following into Japanese?"
Light stood up with his book and read, "If 당신 obey God's teachings, the seas will be bountiful and storms will not come." Everyone was amazed at how well he translated. Including me...of course he was Japan's best and brightest so I shouldn't be THAT shocked.
He finished 읽기 then sat back down. "Very good, Yagami," the teacher said then continued on with class....I stared at Light the whole time....
After school, I came straight 집 and went to my room, laying in my 침대 and staring at the ceiling. I was thinking about now that Light and I have talked, if we could start to date. I hoped so...
I looked over at my cell phone. We'd exchanged numbers after school and he said he was going to text me and hadn't done so yet. My stomach was like a pretzel. I was so nervous about what he would say when he texted....but what would he say that would be diffrent from a regular conversaition at school? Maybe things he couldn't say infront of everyone? I blushed just thinking about it...
Suddenly, my phone glew up and I quickly checked it. But it was just my mom...she had texted me about not forgetting to do my chores and that she'd be 집 soon and that she loved me...I just closed my phone and went to take a shower.
