Ines never thought she'd find herself in such a mess. It had all started quite normally. She'd met a great guy named Klaus Mikaelson. He was funny, charming and handsome. They started dating, and quite frankly Ines was falling madly in 사랑 with him, until one 일 she found out that he was a vampire. And a werewolf. As he tried to explain his true nature to Ines, she just stared at him in shock. She had been dating a fucking hybrid for two months without having any clue. At first she avoided him; she didn't want anything to do with him ever again. But one 일 as she was walking 집 from a night out with friends, she was attacked 의해 a vampire. And Klaus came to her rescue. He explained that the vampire had only attacked her because of her association with Klaus. So he promised to keep her safe. He took her to a house where his friends, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, lived. They were, unfortunately for Ines, also vampires. But they turned out to be alright, and Ines befriended them both. And when Klaus came back after a few weeks to check up on her, she welcomed him with open arms, 키싱 him. Because she had missed him. And living with the Salvatores made her realize that maybe 뱀파이어 weren't so bad after all.
Klaus and Ines stayed together for about a 년 before he started becoming aggressive. He became obsessed with making 더 많이 hybrids, with randomly killing his family members and 프렌즈 whenever he felt angry. He almost hit Ines once in a fit of rage, but stopped himself at the last minute. But it was still too late. From the look on Ines' face Klaus could see that he'd 로스트 all her respect. And he let her go. And it was the worst mistake of his life.
Ines stayed with the Salvatores for a while. Mainly because she still needed protecting from the possible vampire attacks, but also because they had become her friends. Damon was hilarious, and Stefan was sensitive. She had a lot to talk about with both of them. But that one 일 when Damon invited his old friend Enzo (also a vampire) to stay with them, everything changed for Ines.
The two met and became interested in each other that very second. Enzo was funny, charming, exciting, everything Klaus had been. But somehow he was also something else. He wasn't as cruel, as aggressive. He treated Ines the way she deserved to be treated. And one day, as the two were sitting on the couch, staring into the flames of the Salvatore fireplace, Enzo leaned forwards and kissed her. At first Ines pulled away, almost out of instinct. As if she still owed something to Klaus. But then she found herself 키싱 him back, and they ended up spending the night together.
After a week of blissful dating, Klaus came back. Ines guessed Stefan must have told him about her and Enzo. And when he did come back, all hell broke loose. He fought with Ines with words and Enzo with violence. It took a while to calm him down.
As Ines sat him down and they finally spoke after such a long time of being apart, he finally told her the three words that she had wanted to hear from him for such a long time. "I 사랑 you."
But somehow they didn't mean as much to her anymore. In a way she would always 사랑 him. He had been her first love. He had been the first one to make her feel desired, to make her life exciting. But now she had Enzo. And she loved him 더 많이 than she could ever express. And she told Klaus this. It hurt her to see the look on his face, the obvious hurt and disappointment. And it hurt even 더 많이 to watch him walk away.
But eventually she stopped blaming herself. She started spending time with Enzo again, and when he told her that he loved her, it felt every bit as amazing as it should have felt with Klaus. She was safe. She was in 사랑 with him, just like she had once been with Klaus.
After a 년 of dating Ines asked Enzo to turn her. She wanted to be a vampire like him. She didn't want to die and leave him alone in the world.
Klaus, of course, heard of this, but he did nothing to stop it. Because despite what everyone thought, all he wanted for Ines was for her to be happy. And if she truly was happy with Enzo, then he would have to accept it. And the 다음 time he saw her, it didn't hurt as much. It made him happy to see the smile on her face, the obvious happiness and joy of being in love. And then, once and for all, he let her go.
Ines and Enzo got married. They never had children, of course, but they had a family with Stefan and Damon. And it was a life they were both contempt with. And it was a life they were going to keep living forever.
