Face it, the Korean public (or media) loves her look, it not so much overexpose as much as people want to see Yoona. When SNSD first came out Yoona was doing dramas, so everyone was already familiar with her through acting as well as looks. She is the center because she is the prettiest or closest to the ideal Korean standard of beauty, its a great marketing technique on SM's part, only I think people who aren't familiar with Sk will find this difficult. She has everything that Skoreans idols after, big eyes, long legs, proportional lips, a "V" shaped chin, small nose...need I go on. People will want her more not because she is the most popular but her looks literally sell things well. She gets more CF, photo shoots, and screen time because people want to see more of her because she is the closest thing in SNSD to Korean ideal beauty. Yoona is popular not because of Sm overproducing of her image but because the public likes her look most, or at least the majority so it does look like it is overexposed. Now don't get me wrong SM may capitalize on Yoona's looks though too much face time, but its not like the general public complains so much about, SNSD doesn't. Everyone has their role in the group and obviously everyone isn't equal, some are there for dancing, singing, or just to look pretty. Yoona is the one assigned to be the "pretty"one, which comes with more exposure then everyone else because they usually are the ones that are highest in demand.

Jenjen_bunny This happens in a lot of Pop Groups not just SNSD or Korean Pop but yes like tiagih says, it probably all comes down to the aesthetics of it, of course it's not fair but you are dealing with a commercial band here and to sell and gain popularity you need to be appealing to a certain audience and that's probably what that woman from Girls Generation probably does (sorry I don't know the name) I think it's unfair, but I don't find this surprising either. T.T It makes it even more difficult I think because girls Generation have so many members and it's hard to focus on all of them equally... (probably why I don't know all the members of Suju yet, but I know most of them XD)

princess89 we can feel the gap between yoona's popularity compare to other members (Hyo, Sunny..). while in other groups, there isnt much difference. i watched some of SUJU performances. but fans cheers for all the members equally. while SNSD, we can hear cheers for
