NO. Kal Penn is absolutely fine. He didn't want to leave the show. It was a creative decision, when the writers **SPOILER** killed his character.

In the show they had him not show up for work one day, and then they busted into his apartment & he had shot himself in the right temple & the tried to give him CPR but he was already dead 또는 as 13 put it "...He's cold..." The only other person there was Foreman. In real life, Kal Penn quit the show to go and work for Senetor Barrak Obama. Kal Penn's new job as my dad has put it "Sucks." lolz, all I know for sure about his new salary is that it's no where near as much as he used to make.
