album, but the devastating attacks on Paris, France have left a gaping hole in his team.
Universal Music Group (UMG) executive Thomas Ayad, who was a product manager for Mercury Labels, was one of the 89 people killed in Friday (Nov. 13)’s attack on patrons of the Bataclan theater during the Eagles of Death Metal concert, the company confirmed over the weekend.
Justin paid emotional tribute to his fallen team member on Monday (Nov. 16) night, writing, “still thinking about Paris and my friend Thomas that we lost in the tragedy.”
“He was a part of the team for years and I wish I would’ve had more time to thank him,” Bieber added. “Make sure to appreciate people while you have them. Thanks Thomas for everything you did for me. You are appreciated and missed. Thoughts and prayers are with your family & friends.”

Bieber previously paid tribute to the 129 casualties of the horrific terrorist attack on the City of Lights during Saturday (Nov. 14)’s taping of Nickelodeon’s 2015 Halo Awards, asking the crowd for a moment of silence for the victims and encouraging the children in the audience to “make this world a little bit better.”
Clumsy, wavy-haired, and full of good intentions. Yep, that about sums it up.
