An old soul is the last thing 당신 would expect to find inside Justin Bieber. But all it takes is one listen to the 16 year-old soul-singing phenomenon to realize that he is light years ahead of his manufactured pop peers. After posting dozens of homemade 비디오 on YouTube in 2007, where the multi-talented Bieber put his impeccable spin on songs from artists like Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder, Justin racked up over 10,000,000 views purely from word of mouth. “I started 노래 about three years ago,” says the Canadian native who grew up an only child in Stratford, Ontario. “I entered a local 노래 competition called Stratford Idol. The other people in the competition had been taking 노래 lessons and had vocal coaches. I wasn’t taking it too seriously at the time, I would just sing around the house. I was only 12 and I got 초 place.”In an effort to share his victory with his loved ones, Justin began posting his performance footage online. “I put my 노래 비디오 from the competition on YouTube so that my 프렌즈 and family could watch them,” he says. “But it turned out that other people liked them and they started subscribing to them. That’s how my manager found me. He saw me on YouTube and contacted my family and now I’m signed!”Seven months after Justin started posting his 비디오 online, former So So Def marketing executive Scooter Braun flew the then 13-year old singer to Atlanta, GA to meet with his elite colleagues. As if Justin’s natural 노래 talent wasn’t enough to impress Scooter’s inner circle, Braun knew Bieber was also a self-taught musician who plays the drums, guitar, 피아노 and trumpet.“Right when we flew into Atlanta, Scooter drove us to the studio and 어셔 was there in the parking lot,” remembers Bieber. “That was my first time ever being out of Canada so I went up to him and was like, ‘Hey Usher, I 사랑 your songs, do 당신 want me to sing 당신 one?’ He was like, ‘No little buddy, just come inside, it’s cold out.’” All it took was a short time online for 어셔 to realize he was in the company of a future superstar. “A week later 어셔 flew me back to Atlanta,” says Bieber. “I sang for him and his people and he really wanted to sign me then and there but I still had a meeting with Justin Timberlake who also wanted to sign me. It turned out Usher’s deal was way better. He had L.A. Reid backing him up and Scooter had a lot of really good connections in Atlanta. I always tease 어셔 now and remind him he how he blew me off the first time we met.”In October of 2008, Justin Bieber officially signed to Island Records. His debut album, My World is an intimate look into the mind of a budding young renaissance man. With production from 별, 스타 hit men like The Dream and Tricky Stewart who produced “Umbrella” for 리한나 and Beyonce’s latest smash, “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” Justin has everything he needs to achieve pop supremacy. His first single, “One Time” produced 의해 Tricky, is about one of Justin’s 가장 좋아하는 topics, 강아지 love. 어셔 joins Justin on “First Dance” where the two share verses on a song that Bieber describes as, “A slow groovy song that people can dance to.” On the Midi-Mafia produced “Down to Earth” Justin digs deep to talk about growing up. “Bigger” finds the teenaged singer maturing at a steady rate, while motivating his listeners to strive for their goals.“I’m looking 앞으로 to influencing others in a positive way,” says Justin. “My message is 당신 can do anything if 당신 just put your mind to it. I grew up below the poverty line; I didn’t have as much as other people did. I think it made me stronger as a person it built my character. Now I have a 4.0 grade point average and I want to go to college and just become a better person.” A virtually untapped well of natural artistic talent, Justin Bieber is primed to be a solid force in 음악 for many years to come. “I think older people can appreciate my 음악 because I really show my 심장 when I sing, and it’s not corny,” he says. “I think I can grow as an artist and my 팬 will grow with me.” And just think, he’s just getting started.

On Thursday afternoon (June 3), Penny Noelle, 10, started standing in line for Justin Bieber's "Today" show 음악회, 콘서트 on Friday morning. She arrived in New York from Springfield, Massachusetts, equipped with her bag, posters, money, a chair to sleep on overnight and a very patient mom.

"For Justin Bieber, I'll do anything," Penny told 엠티비 News.

She's not the only one. 의해 Thursday evening, hundreds of fans, including some as young as 5, had already lined the streets outside Rockefeller Plaza in anticipation of the free Bieber concert.

Megan Hazelwood, 17, who said she attended one of Justin's first concerts, convinced her parents to travel 17 hours from Kansas City, Kansas, so she could see him once again.

"I've never driven 17 hours for anyone but Justin Bieber," she said. 의해 the time Megan arrived Thursday evening, though, the line already spanned a couple of blocks.

Most 팬 passed the time Thursday night making posters for the concert, 노래 Bieber's songs and playing games. Many families also got nearby hotels and took shifts standing in line throughout the night.

Joe Pezzino, who drove his daughter seven hours from Buffalo, New York, waited in line alone as his daughter joined some family 프렌즈 at a nearby hotel for dinner.
Justin Bieber credits God for "holding" his family together. Discussing his belief, the teen Canadian singer - who plans to stay pure - said he and his family has strong faith, as he explained: "[We] are really involved with God.
"He’s always been like, I don’t know, he’s held our family together. We grew up with not a lot of money, my mom and I. She was young when she had me. We struggled, but we never blamed him." Justin added to USA Today: "Hey, all this serious stuff aside, I’m still young, I’m still trying to figure out who I am, and I’m just trying to have fun. I don’t know what I’m here to do yet."

Justin Bieber's mother has claimed that the singer wants to remain a virgin until he meets the right girl. Pattie Mallette, who recently denied reports that she would pose for Playboy, said that the 16-year-old intends to "stay pure", reports 엠티비 News "He's expressed his desire to stay pure, and honour women, and treat women with respect. So hopefully that stays valid," she said.
Bieber, who has insisted that he is currently single, admitted that he finds it hard to trust girls. He told E! News: "It's definitely hard to find a girl that really likes me for me. 당신 gotta be careful. "Right now, I'm like so busy anyway, so I just have fun, hang out with girls and stuff. Try not to take it too seriously."

Okay, all in all Justin Bieber is amazing. He can sing, he's absolutely adorable, and he tries his best to give all of his 팬 equal attention. Born in Ontario, Canada, Justin Drew Bieber SELF-TAUGHT (amazing) himself to play the piano, drums, guitar, and trumpet!! The first video of Justin's I saw was when I went on to iTunes one 일 and I saw that his 음악 video for One Time was #1 in the 상단, 맨 위로 ten purchased 음악 videos. Justin bieber is so amazing!!! I was at a 음악회, 콘서트 and I was in the front row. When he was 노래 baby he touched my hand! I totally flipped out! I nearly fainted but my friend told mr to snap out of it. Later on after the 음악회, 콘서트 we had backstage passes and we got to talk to him in person. Some people think he's all lies and stuff but he's really a nice person. He autographed some posters and cd cases for us. I'll never forget that 음악회, 콘서트 because it was the best 음악회, 콘서트 o my life.
Now I have every cd that he has out and every song of his on my iPod.
Even Miley Cyrus has fallen for Justin Bieber for his pranks, that is.
“It sounded like a little kid,” Miley told Access Hollywood’s Billy 부시, 부시 대통령은 in an interview for Access and “The Billy 부시, 부시 대통령은 Show” of the “Baby” singer’s recent late-night prank call. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I am so mad.’ Then I get a text, he’s like, ‘Haha.’” However, Miley told Billy that she wound up laughing, too.
“I have him in my phone as Bieber Fever, so that’s always pretty funny when 당신 get one of those [texts],” she said.
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer said she can’t prank Biebs back thanks to her little sister Noah’s crush. “I can’t really be mean because my little sister is like, never ever going to have a boyfriend until it can be Justin Bieber,” Miley said. “She’s saving herself for the Biebs.” And Justin’s not the only one with a nickname in her phone. “My little sister is Mrs. Bieber in my phone,” she added.
Charice eagerly waves to her awaiting 팬 as she arrives at a meet-and-greet at the Indigo Eaton Centre Bookstore in Toronto on Saturday afternoon (June 5). The 18-year-old powerhouse Filipina recently sat down with 엠티비 about her cover of Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” Charice shared, “I just did that this morning [May 12], and it was because I 사랑 ‘Baby,’ it’s really a catchy song. I actually 사랑 covering some songs, but I think that’s the best song I sang so far, ’cause that’s my 가장 좋아하는 song from Justin Bieber. I’m a fan. I 사랑 the story of his life. I 사랑 his attitude. I met him and he was really, really nice. I got the Bieber fever.
Earlier this morning on "Today," Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber came face-to-face with thousands of 팬 who crowded into Rockefeller Center in the middle of midtown Manhattan (some of whom had been camped out there since Wednesday night). The singer sat down for a brief interview with co-host Matt Lauer before walking outside to a chorus of ecstatic screams and performing a 30 분 set. But perhaps the best encounter the singer had during his stint on the show was when he encountered the Stanley Cup, the NHL's storied championship trophy. The 16-year-old has hordes of young female fans, but his fame means he has also been criticised 의해 some who dislike his music. They claim the Canadian singer will lose his appeal when his voice deepens naturally, something Justin finds annoying. He plans to continue working in the industry for the rest of his life, and doesn’t mind that his tones will change over time. “They say, ‘When he goes through puberty he’s not going to be a good singer anymore,’” Justin admitted. “But I don’t let the haters get to me. The harder 당신 work, the 더 많이 successful 당신 can be. This is just the beginning for me.”
Justin is already finding his voice is changing. His hit Baby requires him to sing a lot of high notes, and the 별, 스타 has found it a struggle to reach some of them at recent concerts. “It cracks, like every teenage boy’s,” he said of his voice. “Even some of the notes on Baby I can’t hit anymore. We have to lower the key when I sing it live.”
a 16-year-old pop 별, 스타 who jets around the world, hangs out at the White House, gets chased 의해 hysterical girls on the regular - and maintains the most perfectly coifed hair in the universe - it's hard to be a typical kid.

During a recent interview, he talked about setting up time to spend with a friend. Except unlike other kids bumming around town, Bieber will be flying out his buddy to spend the weekend in a plush hotel, and will hang with him only after he's done with the myriad responsibilities that befall the hottest entertainer on the planet.
"I try to spend as much time with my friends...

All of us here, of course, know that Justin Bieber is perfect in every possible way. But lately some mean-spirited rumor-mongers have 로스트 sight of that fact, and have begun spreading ugly scuttlebutt about the 16-year-old My World sensation: That Biebs is rude behind the scenes. That he gets testy when people ask him about that sweet bird tattoo of his. That he's so dumb he doesn't even know what Germans are. (Okay, so that last one appears to be true.)But Justin Bieber can only take so much besmirching of his good name. So, even though he's Canadian and thus politeness is pretty much hard-wired...
