Actor Ji Chang Wook recently took part in an interview after finishing up his latest drama “Healer” on February 10.
Park Min Young, he said, “No, I’m not. But I feel like being asked these kinds of questions is a step that always follows after the completion of a production.” He added, “After I finished ‘Empress Ki’ with Ha Ji Won, everybody kept asking me if we were dating. I had a lot of on-screen chemistry with Park Min Young this time as well. If I’m shooting a love scene with a fellow actress and people ask us whether we’re dating, I think that means we did a great job on our acting.”
Ji Chang Wook received much praise for his role in the “Healer” to which the actor replied, “When I first made my debut, I didn’t think I was talented enough and that led me to think hard about my acting future. I thought about quitting ‘Smile Again’ but when actor Kim Yoo Seok from the drama told me that actors are not gifted, his words helped me a lot.”
The actor said, “Ultimately, an actor is someone who expresses a human being and that human being is an average person just like everybody else. That human being is not special. I found that I just need to work hard in order to express this person that surrounds us everyday.”
Healer introduced me to amazingly talented Ji Chang Wook, impressing me with his multi-faceted portrayals, bringing to life the three personas - the enigmatic Healer, the awkward scaredy-cat Park Bong Soo and the haunted Seo Jung Hoo. His beautifully nuanced performance is a testament of his dedication to his craft, and it is undoubtedly a blessing to viewers that he persevered in the face of his initial doubts. Looking forward to more great things from him.
You guys can vote for Healer as the best drama of the month at dramabuzz.com. It\'s in the second place right now!
Aww. Sounds humble. Can\'t wait for him to act in a new drama. I liked Park Bong Soo
Reading Ji Chang Wook\'s comments reminds me of a news article I read the other day about another Hollywood actor that seems to have chemistry with every actress he works with. This is truly a testament to his acting talent. He did a tremendous job in Healer and he is one of the few actors I will be on the lookout for. Great interview and I also love the reference to Kim Yoo Seok\'s veteran advice.
This guy sure interviews well! He has a way of saying things properly that need to be said. Great actor and from reading his quotes in this article is probably a great communicator.

wow.he is always honest and clever, the answers all are perfect,he doesnt need to say im talent actor,to me YOU ARE THE MOST  TALENTED ACTOR THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN PLUS DNT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT PPLE;ABOUT DATING WHOM AND WHERE;AIGOOO;RUMORS ARE ALWAYS THERE
I wish people would focus more on the production and professional aspect of the actor itself, rather than his love life. What I love about Ji Chang Wook is that his answers to interview questions are always thoughtful. I hope he continue to grow as an amazing actor!!! On the side note, I knew he had potential in him the day I saw him in Younha\'s MV Broke Up Today back in 2009!
I like the words of Kim Yoo Seok...it\'s humility and ability to understand and portray another human beings emotions that make a good actor. Some call that talent but, it\'s more emotional honesty and vulnerability. He\'s right.
