	chel1395 picked Sense and Sensibility (kate winslet): P&P with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle is by far by favorite movie version. The newest was okay, but as far as I'm concerned, Colin Firth is Mr Darcy. And S&S was so wonderful!! posted over a year ago.

I did like Pride & Prejudice '05, but I also like the one with Colin Firth as well. I think Persuasion is one of the most overlooked and sweetly romantic movies I've ever seen. I didn't much care for the '07 version. They rushed the story and lost all its subtlety. posted over a year ago.

The BBC version of P+P is the BEST version EVA, and while i agree that they did kind of rush the 2007 version of Persusaion, Rupert-Penry is SO much better looking, (AND a better actor) then Ciaran Hinds is or could ever hope to be. However, I much preferred the BBC series of it with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, as that one is more accurate to the book and Jennifer Ehle fits Lizzy Bennet much better than Keira Knightley. Sense and Sensibility with Kate Winslet and Emma Thompson is wonderful - so that's my pick! :-) posted over a year ago.
