Vinyl didn\'t take, this September HBO is stepping back in time again to the seedier side of 1970s New York City and the golden age of porn and prostitution in Manhattan.

The Wire takes place around New York City\'s notorious 42nd Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenue, aka The Deuce, known for its adult bookstores, hookers, drug dealers and peep shows.

The gritty series chronicles the legalisation and rise of the porn industry in

NYC and follows the stories of twin brothers, \'Vincent\' and \'Frankie Martino\' (both played by James Franco) who run a bar which is a front of the Mob in Times Square, and Maggie Gyllenhaal\'s pimp-less streetwalker \'Candy\' who sees opportunity in the new burgeoning adult entreatment market.

Game of Thrones, but it sounds like there are more than enough compelling characters, complex storylines and no doubt nudity in The Deuce to hook in viewers of a Sunday night.

This giant-sized billboard for the series was snapped towering over

West Hollywood\'s eastbound Sunset Strip on August 18, whilst the landscape versions were spotted along Sunset Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard from August 16 to August 20, 2017.
