Imagine Dragons, the latest Utah Valley band to discover international success, makes a triumphant return from their sell-out European tour to perform on May 20 at the UCCU Center in Orem.
The indie rock band formed in 2008 when lead guitarist Wayne Sermon, from American Fork, met Las Vegas native and lead singer Dan Reynolds when he was attending BYU.
Just a 년 later Imagine 용 was crowned the winner of Utah Valley University’s UVUPhoria talent competition (check out the video flashback of the competition above), helping further launch the band’s success.
Like any proud papa, Jeff Sermon is eager to help the community celebrate the success of his son Wayne’s band. So, in conjunction with Utah Community Credit Union and The Ticket, Jeff is excited to give away four VIP tickets to the upcoming concert.

Daniel may be a native of Atlanta, GA, but he is rocking it with the best in LA. Also a graduate of Berklee College of Music, Daniel pounds the drums with precision and passion. Fun fact – Daniel has a Bachelor’s Degree in film scoring and holds credits on three films!
Daniel also performs the backing vocals for the band, as well as playing the viola.
He is the newest member of the band, joining in 2011, after the departure of Andrew Tolman who previously played drums and performed the backing vocals.
