Great interview, thanks for posting. I don't know if anyone else notices, but I think there's been a dramatic change in persona in Hugh when it comes to dealing with his depression. Watching interviews from the 90s, to his start on House, to now, there's been a great metamorphosis. He's still the same old Hugh in his demises for happiness, but I've noticed the facial scratchings and the cringes when hearing the word "success" has depreciated in frequency lately. Maybe Hugh is actually accepting House = success? Just my observation.

I was wondering, hate asking since I feel like I'm prying into his life, but did he ever say definitely if he did try anti-depressants? I remember an interview on Leno I believe when they were discussing it and it was kind of a weighing of the pluses and minuses to doing so, but never really said if he tried them or not.

He always feels uncomfortable when it comes to people pointing out his talents! Theres an interview with Stephen Fry back in the early 90's and Stephen was saying how amazing he was, and he does the whole facial scratching, looking off camara, looking like he wants to be somewhere else.
