House and Cuddy were sitting underneath a large tree. Branches were spread out, boughs reaching every which way, bringing them comforting shade as they sat back watching over the young students. Cuddy was lying against House with his arms wrapped around her. His grip and stare was intimidating, for it was a warning look, a look of great protectiveness. She was wearing House's leather jacket, which suited her well. The familiar summer breeze blew as it shook the trees leaves. They were both feeling serene. It was peaceful here, bringing back plenty of memories.
"We should get back," Cuddy said as she stood up. House pretended like he was sleeping, so his eyes were closed and he tried looking peaceful.
"House. House!"
He still sat still as the sun began to set over the horizon.
"Sweetie get up. I know you're not sleeping." She waited for his response but he still stayed the same.
"Fine, I'm leaving without you."
She pretended to leave but he still remained the same. So she searched the pockets in his 재킷, 자 켓 and found his vicodin. She put a piece in her mouth, bent down beside him and kissed him, allowing the tablet to make its way into his mouth as she continued to 키스 him. She slowly got back up releasing the 키스 but before she could get away, he knocked her over into the 잔디 and hovered over her as the sun beamed on them, reflecting the perfect light, before taking its final bow.
"Well played."
"So what now?"
"Well, I'm pretty sure it's my obligation to do this," and he gave her a 키스 and released, tenderly.
"That was your obligation, I felt that was 더 많이 of a--"
"It was an obligation, trust me." He smiled at her and then began checking his jacket. Cuddy just stared at him, curiously.
"Are we going to have sex here too? What are 당신 doing?"
He pulled out a pocket 칼, 나이프 and went back to the tree. After he had finished, she saw that he had carved the initials, PP and SS, one over the other. Cuddy just smiled.
"Party Pants and Sweet Sauce?" She asked whilst laughing.
"What else?" Cuddy had been 로스트 in the adventures and recollections of the day, that she hadn't realized the time.
"Shit, it's already seven?"
"Wilson?"
"Damn, yeah. 당신 have your phone?"
"No I left it at the hotel."
"Why?"
"Who else would I need to call, you're right here."
She rolled her eyes and gave a quick smile before House said,
"Come on, let's get back."
Walking over to the car, House had in one hand, his beloved cane, and in the other, his beloved. And together, they walked away from their old school, saying their goodbyes. They got into the car, pulled out of the parking lot, driving to what it seemed, into the sunset.

They got back to the hotel before the last sliver of the sun had passed. They went through the lobby with ease, this time, ignoring the woman at the front desk. Within minutes, they were in their room again. It was clean all around; The 침대 was fixed, towels replaced, tables fixed, and garbage taken. House put his cane aside and fell backwards on the 침대 as Cuddy called Wilson, checking up on Rachel.
"Hey. How is she? Okay. Just calling to--Did he tell 당신 to say that?" Cuddy looked at House who was smiling a sinister smile as the conversation went on.
"Yeah I know he's right. Yeah. Okay. Bye."
"So?"
"She's fine. Asleep. Healthy. Alive."
"Care for dinner?"
"Okay, I think there's a good restaurant down on Waiver Avenue--"
"I already had a place in mind. Go change, I'm taking a shower."
"I didn't know we were going to go somewhere fancy. I just have jeans and shirts."
"House pulled out his wallet from his back pocket of his pants. He took out a hundred dollar bill and threw it at her.
"Buy yourself something nice," and he threw her the keys.
"I don't want 당신 looking like that when we go to dinner. You've got an hour." House walked past Cuddy over 의해 their suitcases and he put on shorts and a white t-shirt. Then he grabbed his cane again and went for the door.
"Where are 당신 going?"
"Work out before shower. I gave 당신 an 시간 didn't I? I'm not gonna sit around here dressed like idiot waiting for you. I will only do that for fifteen minutes. So I'm hitting the work out room."
He winked at her as he closed the door making his way to the work out room.

House was sitting on the edge of the 침대 watching tv waiting for Cuddy to come back. He was wearing a black suite with black pants and a cerulean blue tie. He looked rather handsome tonight as opposed to most times, 또는 all the time. After a 분 또는 so, Cuddy came in with a small and large shopping bag. One apparently for her outfit, and the other, her shoes.
"You look--"
"Go change."
She walked over into the bathroom out of sight for a few minutes. When she came out, surprisingly she was matching House. She was wearing a cerulean dress with a pattern of black over her dress, with a black lacing at the ends of her dress and black stilettos to 상단, 맨 위로 it off.
"Didn't know 당신 were going to wear that."
"You think I did? 당신 told me to shop, so I picked the nicest thing I saw."
"Which happened to be the one thing that actually matches me? Bravo."
He got up from the bed, and walked over to her, but without limping.
"Your leg--?"
"I'm fine let's go."
"How--?"
"I injected myself with morphine."
"What?"
"Walking around with a cripple doesn't make a good impression. It will last me for a couple hours."
"How many millimeters did 당신 take?"
"Just enough to kill the pain for a few hours. Let's go."
There was a seriousness in his tone. He urged her out the door, closing it behind them.

They got out of the car, making their way into "The Earle". They had the greatest 표, 테이블 in the house, outside on the patio.
"Hello, my name name is Jacques, I will be your server tonight. Might I start 당신 off with something to drink? Anything from our wine bar good sir?" The server had a heavy accent, so heavy it was so hard to distinguish.
"Yes, I'll have a bottle of your Dow's 1994."
"Here are your menus, I shall be back to take your order."
"House, that's sixteen dollars."
"I know. It's good. Trust me." The wine came and they ordered their food. After the waiter left, they began to argue.
"House, 당신 are being too materialistic here. Your taking drugs, and wasting money like its air."
"I wanted the drugs. And I'm a diagnostician, we get good money 당신 know."
"House--"
"In this relationship the only thing 당신 get here is what 당신 need and want. Nothing else matters." And he took a gulp of his port.
"In this relationship, we have a two way street. We compromise. 당신 don't have to keep giving and giving. We give and take. That's how a relationship works. This isn't a one way street. Your sacrificing too much."
House ignored her and averted his eyes away from her stare, looking around the room, finding anything possible to stare at.
"Look at me."
House pulled up his eyes from the floor, meeting with Cuddy's.
"I don't want 당신 spoiling me all the time." Suddenly a sudden jolt of pain occurred in his leg. He made a sudden jerk, hitting the table. He gripped it tightly, trying to relieve the pain.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"It's wearing off isn't it?"
"No, my leg twitched."
"We're getting out of here." Cuddy got up trying to pull him from his chair. He reluctantly gave in, and stood up with her, limping to the door, paying just for the wine. Cuddy drove them back to the hotel, helping him all the way back to their room.
"You're an idiot."
"So I've been told."
They changed into their pj's and slipped into bed, turning on the 텔레비전 and turning off all lights. As he flipped through the channels, she rested her head on his chest. It was nearly ten.
"Night."
"Night." He kissed her on the head and she fell asleep quickly. Once she fell into a deep sleep, around eleven, he grabbed his cane and sneaked out. He made his way to the pool area. He took off his 셔츠 and left on his shorts and got in. After a half 시간 또는 so, Cuddy came barging in, in panic with a sleepy, worried face.
"What the hell are 당신 doing?"
"Swimming. In water."
"Don't ever do that again. 당신 scared me half to death."
"Stop worrying, 당신 knew I hadn't gone far. My keys are still there."
"In your current condition anything could've happened."
House began splashing water at her to wash away the seriousness on her face.
"Stop."
He splashed her even 더 많이 getting her soaked here and there.
"I'm going to bed."
But when she turned around, he grabbed her legs causing her to fall into the water with him. He started laughing as her jaw dropped and eyes widened.
"I am going to kill you."
"Not yet at least."
He carried her with the water into the deeper end. It was dead silent as they stared at each other. She moved closer to him backing him into a corner and began 키싱 him. After a good few seconds, she released it, pressing her head against his as she clutched onto his neck. They began to whisper.
"Promise me something."
"Don't I always?"
"Never let me go."
"Never planned on it." And they sunk lower in the water, swimming until passed twelve. They made it back upstairs to dry off and took quick showers before going to bed. House held Cuddy in the same embrace he had done the 이전 night before they both fell asleep.
"I meant what I said about the promise. No matter what, never let me go."
"I meant what I said. I never planned on it."
