Chapter 20:

“I wish I knew what was going through his mind.”

Felicia was just walking through the forest with a heavy 심장 and too much thoughts running through her head. She was still very overwhelmed of what had happened on her and Hiccup’s date. She really wasn’t a girl too just give her body up like that, and defiantly didn’t have sex on the first date. She had developed a strong connection with Hiccup and felt the connection the moment they met, but she still felt like they had moved a bit fast. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy it. The thought of it made her cheeks burn, a feeling of fluster. She was just really scared to get hurt. She didn’t know what Hiccup thought of this and she felt like a major slut from the words Astrid had said to her. Was she really changing Hiccup? Was she really getting in the way of his responsibilities? Was she really a whore ?

She had kept all these thoughts to herself. Beth was a bit worried about her but Felicia reassured her she was fine, she even tried avoiding Hiccup at all costs. She just wanted to forget the whole thing had ever happened.

“ Hmm, look at that. It’s the feisty one.”

From a nearby 나무, 트리 Marshall, The vampire king was gazing down at Felicia. He was getting sick of Pitch lecturing him about the same stupid stuff so he came out, looking and getting himself into trouble. He didn’t really care about much. Getting into trouble was kind of his escape from facing his cruel reality. He loved the rush it gave him.

He looked down at Felicia who looked upset. Marshall didn’t know much about this girl he just knew he loved tormenting her. There was just something about her that made him want to stop what he was doing and focus all of his attention on her. He was about to trail down towards her , whenever he spotted another female coming in her direction. He squinted his eyes. She had blond hair and a very thin figure; she had a bold expression upon her face. He watched as this girl came face to face with Felicia. He leaned in close to listen.

“What are 당신 doing here Astrid?” Felicia mumbled,

“Last time I checked in a free country.” Astrid huffed,

Felicia didn’t make any eye contact with her. She was not one to fight so she tried slipping beside her, but Astrid took her 의해 the 칼라 and grabbed her 의해 the throat. Felicia gasped and dropped her basket of items on the ground. She tried getting out of her grip but Astrid was too strong.

“Now 당신 listen to me, and 당신 listen to me good.” Astrid shirked.

Felicia could barely make out what she was saying, she felt herself starting to become dizzy.

“I want 당신 to leave Berk and never return. 당신 GOT THAT? DO 당신 GOT THAT?” She shouted.

Before Felicia could even response 또는 try, Marshall came flying from the tree, knocking Astrid onto the ground, releasing Felicia from her grip. Felicia rubbed her neck where she was touched and looked over to see Marshall glaring at Astrid who was now on the ground.

“Who the fuck do 당신 think 당신 are?” Astrid growled,

She stood up fast, glaring at Marshall, trying not to seem that she was terrified.

Marshall smirked and floated all around her “I don’t think that’s any of your business.” Astrid gazed at the beautiful boy as he continued to float around her. “But I wouldn’t mess with me. I’m pretty dangerous.” He’s eyes turned beat shot red. She jumped, backing away.

Felicia was staring at Marshall. Had he come to her rescue? She was sure she wouldn’t even see him again, and most of the time she found him nothing but annoying, and well... an attractive boy.

Marshall swopped down Astrid’s face so he could face her. “So here’s what’s going to happen. You’re going to go back to your precious little village and leave Felicia alone, Got it?”

Astrid didn’t say a word she just looked down to the ground, fidgeting with her shirt.

“GOT IT?” Marshall yelled,

Astrid let out a faint shriek, did a quick nod and scurried off. It was the first time Felicia had seen Astrid scared. Marshall chuckled to himself; he turned around and winked at Felicia. Felicia’s cheeks turned red as he approached her.

“ Boy it’s a good thing I was around.” Marshall gloated,

He tried helping Felicia up but Felicia stood up quickly, walking forward. “I had the situation under control...” Trying to act tuff.

Marshall crossed his arms, smirking “Oh ? Yes of course. I should have known 당신 had it under control whenever she had her arms around your neck.”

Felicia blushed, knowing he was right. “What do 당신 want Marshall?” She shrugged, looking away.

“Well for a first, A thank 당신 would be nice.” He snickered, now hovering above her.

Felicia sighed. What kind of girl would she be if she didn’t even say thank 당신 for the guy for saving her. Even though he was annoying and rather conceded, he did help her out.

“Your right... My apologies, Thank you.” Felicia said, while managing to smile a bit.

Marshall gasped at her smile. He couldn’t help but stare at it a bit. It was unlike any smile he had ever seen, He felt his 심장 start to thump.

Wait? Wtf is this? I have a heart? For many years Marshall was convinced he had none. Pitch had drilled into his head that he basically was born for destruction and was not made to have a heart.

Felicia looked over to Marshall who was very quiet, “Are 당신 alright?” she asked,

Marshal shook his head “Uh yea...” He quickly shook the feeling off and grinned playfully once again. “So what are 당신 doing in these woods alone anyways? 당신 missed me didn’t you?” He teased.

Felicia rolled her eyes “Oh yes, that’s exactly it.”

Marshall chuckled, floating back down, he hovered around her neck.

“I heard 당신 like the bad boys.” He whispered, biting her ear seductively.

Felicia took a moment to enjoy his nibbling; she felt a rush of electricity form through her body. It felt so nice. She suddenly realised what was happening and pushed Marshall aside.

“Where did 당신 hear that?” She mumbled,

Marshall raised his eyebrow “It’s obvious and I’m pretty bad baby.” He leaned in to 키스 her neck,

“No. Just... stop.” Felicia groaned,

Marshall looked at her confused. Usually girls fell putty into his hands; this girl kept surprising him 더 많이 and more.

“Felicia? Is that you?”

Hearing an unfamiliar voice Marshall turned invisible as Felicia looked around, she was pretty sure she recognised the voice.

“Hiccup?” She shouted.

Hiccup was now in plain sight. “Felicia! Thank goodness!” He shouted, running towards her. “You had everyone worried. Why did 당신 take off like that?”

Felicia didn’t say anything; she just looked to the ground. Tears were forming through her eyes, remembering the whole Astrid incident. She just wanted to go back to her 선실, 캐빈 and cry.

“Felicia?” Hiccup questioned, grabbing her arm softly.

She couldn’t hold it in anymore, she started to cry. Everything was just too much right now.

Hiccup grabbed her into his arms, caressing her hair gently “Shh baby it’s alright. Let’s get 당신 back to the cabin.”

Felicia looked up at Hiccup shocked. This was the first time he had ever called her “baby” 또는 any cute nickname for that matter. What was going on with her and him anyways? She blushed and held his hand tightly, trying to hold back the tears.

As they left the forest, Marshall who had been hiding came out, revealing himself once more. He grunted to himself, kicking rocks and leafs as he walked along the path.

“Who does this guy think he is anyways?” He snarled.

He held his head in frustration. Seeing the display before him gave him mixed feelings. Why was he so angry? So that was love? The display of affection Hiccup was giving to Felicia? That’s what 사랑 was? Whatever it was, he used it as another excuse to just go and kill someone. It just made him angry. He had never seen something like that before. Pitch had told him affection and comfort were signs of weaknesses and he would NOT be weak. How could he have so much rage over someone for no reason? He never usually did, but I guess he was a half demon, half vampire and apparently a sex god. Although he didn’t find sex that amusing but that’s what he was told. He had his fair share of sexual partners but he got bored with them easy, nothing special. He didn’t really know how to act around this girl Felicia. She was different and it was driving him completely insane.

Knocking over a few things and punching a few trees Marshall vanished once 더 많이 and went to go seek sexual partners, hoping to get his mind off things. As much as he was starting to like this girl he was beginning to hate her, just cause he couldn’t figure her out.

“Ohh I’m going to kill that bitch.”

Beth was walking into the town market. She had Astrid on her mind. She couldn’t really shake off the thought of Astrid ruining everything for her brother lately, not to mention her best friend Felicia. Astrid had always been hateful and rather blunt but lately she was taking things a bit too far.

Beth was throwing groceries in her bag, looking around the store. She was slamming everything. She wasn’t really in the greatest mood and thinking of Astrid was just making her 더 많이 moody. Things had been so dramatic lately that she barely even got to worry about her own troubles.

She flew through the other isle of 음식 where there was cereal. She picked up eight boxes. Hiccup usually ate them all on her anyways so she might as well buy as much as she could. She turned around, not really paying attention to where she was going. She then found herself tripping over her two front feet, falling into someone. They both crashed onto the floor. The person broke Beth’s fall. She was almost afraid to look and see who she had crashed into. She was already embarrassed enough. Her clumsy nature always seemed to get into the way.

“You always know how to make a killer entrance.” The voice beamed, chuckling.
Beth looked up to see Jack looking down at her, smirking, his arms around her slightly. She jumped up, alarmed to see him.

“Woah. Why so startled? I was rather comfy.” Jack taunted, getting up as well, brushing himself off.

Beth gapped at the boy. “What are 당신 doing here?” She groaned,

She tried to act like she wasn’t that pleased to see him but her smile crept up on her. She actually was very happy to see him.

“Oh pleaseeee, look at you. You’re smiling. 당신 missed me.” Jack teased, poking her sides gently.

Beth shrugged and pushed away his hands. “What are 당신 doing here anyways? I thought 당신 left.”

“Well I came back.” He winked,

Beth watched as he slyly moved over to her and put his arm around her. “So how about that 초 date?”

“Your kidding me, 초 date? We never even went on a first date” Beth sighed, while rolling her eyes. She didn’t attempt to 옮기기 his arm off of her shoulders though.

“So you’re telling me laying down beneath the stars, enjoying each other company isn’t called a date?” He snickered, his eyebrow raised.

Beth blushed, not making eye contact. The truth was she had the time of her life with Jack that night. Nothing could have topped that night. Beth was just really scared of getting hurt so she shut herself off when it came to guys.

“So it’s settled then.”

Beth looked up to see Jack smiling. “I’ll pick 당신 up on Saturday around five o clock.” He beamed, all his perfect white teeth showing.

“Hey, I didn’t agree to – “

Before Beth could finish her sentence Jack leaned in, grabbing her face gently and kissed her. The 키스 was so passionate. Beth could feel every part of her body start tingling, her 심장 beating fast and trying to catch her breath. He released and looked at her with loving eyes. Beth felt weak in the knees; she had never felt such compassion. Some people stopped and glanced over at the two.

“So I will see 당신 on Saturday then?” Jack smirked, with one eyebrow raised.

Beth shook her head, getting out of her trance. “Uh .. um yes.” She blurted her cheeks red as a tomato.

Jack’s pearly white smile widened and he bowed down to her “See 당신 then my ladie,” he teased. He wrapped his arms around her, giving her a cute 키스 on the cheek and then vanished to what it seemed into thin air.

Beth gapped at where he had just disappeared. She didn’t feel like she was on earth yet, her thoughts were still up in the clouds. She had never received 또는 experienced a 키스 quite like that one. She smiled to herself and held her hands to her chest. She would never admit it but she couldn’t wait to see him again. Saturday couldn’t come close enough.

Meanwhile at Pitch’s lair there was a very concerned, sexy , vampire named Zero who was walking back and forth up the halls.

“Marshall where are you?” He groaned,

Zero was Marshall’s brother. Although the two of them were very different and didn’t get along most of the time, Zero still loved Marshall deeply. Zero was 더 많이 serious and took his responsibilities serious, like taking over the world with Pitch, defending the guardians once and for all and he just accepted he’s fate. He knew that he was meant to cause destruction and spread evil to the world, while Marshall just wanted to go out and have fun, play tricks and have sexual encounters. Marshall didn’t really seem to care about he’s responsibilities about taking over the guardians.

Zero groaned and shook his head. How was his brother ever going to take over the guardians if he was never here to plot? He gave him such a headache.

“Has Marshall returned?”

Zero turned around and saw Pitch, he’s master staring at him with angry eyes.

“No. I’m afraid not.” Zero groaned, looking at the big clock in the middle of the room.

Pitch let out a heavy roar and kicked a nearby table, making a lamp fall down to the ground and shatter into pieces.

“It’s time for Marshall to take on some responsibility! I didn’t raise him to just disrespect me all the time.” Pitch roared. He twirled around to face Zero. “Why couldn’t he be 더 많이 like you? You’re strong and bright. Evil runs through your veins.”

Zero smirked and stuck out his chest. He knew he was a big shot. All around the nightmare 성 he was considered the one everyone feared, and the one that the ladies all fell for. As sexy as Marshall was, Zero outranked him in everything. Zero was pretty much considered a god. He was gorgeous. Zero never took an interest in woman though; he was far too busy planning evil plans to even think about 사랑 또는 even sex. He wasn’t into any of it. As far as he knew, he could live without it.

“My lord thank 당신 for the compliment but 당신 know my brother has evil ruining through his veins just as much as I do. He’d just rather do careless things and likes the company of woman far too much.” Zero sighed, sticking up for his careless brother.

Pitch walked back and forth, thinking. There had to be something to smarten Marshall up. He then stopped in his tracks, turning around and smiling evilly at Zero.

“It’s time for Marshall to take on some responsibility. I have a plan. I’m going to be given him a special task.” Pitch smirked,

Zero looked at Pitch confused. Usually he got all the jobs and tasks, what could he possibly want Marshall for?

“Go and bring me Marshall. I’l deal with him and have a little chat with him.” Pitch snarled,

Zero didn’t argue. He was going to go out and try and find his brother anyways. He nodded and jumped out the 성 window, flying into the air.

“Oh Marshall your so good at this.”

In the nearby trees, there was Marshall and this 랜덤 girl he had found and they were just making out. Usually 의해 this time Marshall would of at least had her naked, but his thoughts were elsewhere and for once he found himself not in the mood at all.

“Yeah baby, 당신 drive me crazy Felicia.” Marshall moaned, 키싱 the girl.

The girl stopped 키싱 Marshall and looked at him disgusted “Felicia? My name is Mary.” She grunted.

Marshall shook his head. He was losing his game, and all over what?, A girl that he barely knew that didn’t even give him the time of day. He had to think of doing something sly quick. He put his hands on her hips, lowering his hands to her ass. He brought her body up against his and slowly started nibbling on her ear. The girl started moaning.

“What were we talking about again?” The girl breathed,

Marshall smirked, damn he was good.
“Nothing, just about how sexy 당신 are.”

“Ohhh please.”

Marshall jumped up. He knew that voice. He turned to see his brother staring at him, shaking his head and crossing his arms. The girl covered herself quickly and ran off.

“Dude. Why did 당신 have to go and do that?” Marshall groaned,

“Marshall what are 당신 doing? I know you’re a sex god and it’s your nature but 당신 seriously have to stop taking off and leaving your responsibilities behind.” Zero snapped,

Marshall rolled his eyes “ I aint a 팬 of responsibilities.”

Zero grinded his teeth; It was almost like he had to take care of a child. “Marshall weather 당신 like it 또는 not , it’s time to grow up. We are this close to beating the guardians and taking over their world.”

“Is that all 당신 and Pitch think about?” Marshall sneered,

“All we think about? It’s what we were meant to do Marshall!” Zero snapped,

Marshall shrugged his shoulders “Whatever. I guess Pitch sent 당신 to come get me.”

“Yes, and if 당신 want to save your head I sagest 당신 go back!” Zero hissed.

Marshall sighed, he hated Zero bossing him around but he hated being yelled at more. “Fine. K im going.” He snarled,

Zero looked 더 많이 calm “Good. I’m just going to stick around for a bit to hunt. I’m starving, I never ate all day.”

Marshall stopped in his tracks. “Where abouts are 당신 going hunting?”

Zero pointed to what he had feared the little town of Berk. “That little town down there,”

Marshall flew in front of Zero, thinking of Felicia. “No no! 당신 can’t hunt there!”

Zero looked at Marshall confused. “And why not?, Since when did u get so soft when it came to hunting? It’s not like your any better. 당신 have sex with them, then drink their blood.” He snarled,

Marshall let out a big hiss. The last thing he wanted was his brother to remind him of who he was. He shouldn’t care about some girl. He was a killing machine. Zero wanted to hunt, so why was he here standing in his way? He scurried off, not looking back at Zero.

Zero came across a little entrance in the town of Berk. He had gotten past the gate fine. He had disguised himself to look like a normal teen boy. He walked along the streets, looking for someone who would satisfy his craving. He also needed to go somewhere quieter. He walked along the 거리 until he found a place where there were only a few people around. He took a glance and saw a beautiful, healthy looking girl.

“She looks tasty.” Zero drooled,

He waited in the alleys until there was no one in sight. This girl was 읽기 a book silently 의해 the water fountain.

“This should be easy.”Zero mumbled,

He slyly made his way to the girl. He was quiet as a mouse. He was about to attack whenever he took a glimpse of her face. Instantly he froze. Something came over him. It seemed like her whole face lite up. He had never been so captivated, He felt himself getting weak. She was breathtaking. He couldn’t explain the rush of emotions he had just encountered. It almost didn’t make sense; he had never experienced this before.

He looked over and saw her name printed on her book. “Beth.” He whispered.

Quickly she turned around, alarmed 의해 the voice. He backed away and fell to the ground. She walked up to him slowly and gazed upon him.

“Are 당신 alright?” she asked,

Zero couldn’t reply, he was too mesmerised 의해 her eyes that were shinning down on him.
