had another addition to my other plot with that line (or at least Wilson says it) "Misery Follows You." you know, the plot with House as the PoW... there would be a nice dose of guilt in that line, right?

Yes, it followed him but it wasn't a friend, not a companion... it was a stalker: it always found him, even on those happy days he could feel it's eyes scanning his every movement... he could hear it's mocking voice afterwards: "I saw you, you know? can't hide, Greg... I'll find you, you know that..." and he did, and he would oblige and go back to his apartment where misery controlled him, where it pulled his strings and made him scream at the ones he loved.
he hated it, wanted it to leave... but that voice he heard everywhere, everyday... he would miss it.

it wasn't a friend.

and the vicodin? a wall... such a nice, big, wall... House would be unseen, voices unheard and the darkened binoculars misery used to watch him would be blurred, phone-lines would go flat...

1. pill: immunity.
2. pills: happiness.
3. pills?

Freedom.

Misery and pills... those were the main ingredients of Gregory House:

Misery: the chair next to his bed was empty... his whole body hurt and if someone sat in the chair he made them leave because misery wanted him alone... and he'd learned not to run:

he stayed alone.

Pills: oh man... those drugs... felt kinda comforting to have that certain warmth flowing through his veins...

he knew he was pathetic... but he was complete.

Without Wilson:

Alone.
High.
complete.

because House's past is still a mystery, he wouldn't willingly go to his father... his father is wearing his marine uniform, House is wearing a tie with his shirt tucked in... I really think she's dead! and that's a good way to uncover his past with his father so...
