Even *I* don't think its all that violent. It's a little brutal at times, but I think its more mild than some *previews* I've seen for slasher movies. =P
OMG--I loved Funny Games..the twist at the end. I thought they were so going to let Naomi Watts live. They just through her off the boat so suttle. I sat there and was like damn that was good. LOL..btw..hello everyone!!
When it comes to extremly brutal I prefer Eden Lake and even Deadgirl. Though a serious warning should come on Deadgirl about being freaked out for life, it's insane.
The remake is brilliant! Movies like that don't get to me at all, it's just kinda eh. And at least in TLHOTL, the assholes get their much needed karma! Microwave anyone? :P
The most disturbing scene I've ever seen in a movie is from Irreversible. None of the movies mentioned above hold anything close to that movie.
lol..we both ♥ horror movies but have completly differ taste in them..too cute!! I think worst remake of the 2009 goes to Friday the 13th and My Bloody Valentine.
Eden Lake IS intense, largely in part to setting that kid on fire and the ending but I could handle watching that movie again unlike Irreversible, which I will never look twice at. I can't say anything without spoiling.
