He didn't deserve to die but It's just all part of Harry Potter isn't it? Loads of people died, not just Cedric

he didn't die!! he was taken to the hospital where he was found by Carlisle who turned him into a vampire and he began a new life as Edward Cullen in Forks in Washington, they just made up that stuff about him having a deadly disease when he was dying because they couldn't let the muggles find out about Voldermort. :)

I think Cedric's death served its purpose. It was a shame, I think he was a very friendly, caring guy, a true Hufflepuff. It was very sad, but a huge attention call.

Clearly he "should've" died, that was J.K. Rowling's decision to kill him off, so I don't see how you can say that he shouldn'tve died.

For those of you that say he's your favorite character and "made Harry Potter worth it" for you, how? He's in one book. Sure, the character himself really didn't deserve to die, he didn't do anything wrong, but it's not like he had the option to die; he just did. There's nothing "should've" about it.

^If Robert wouldn`t have done the Twilight stuff, some one else would done it and it would get hyped anyway. Even when the ugliest guy would play Edward ... crazy teenage girls would hyped him anyway...

I was really sad when Cedric died. I cried like a baby. But after a while I forget it or didn`t care that much about his death like the other deaths.

Am I one of those rear few people whose favorite character is Cedric? It has nothing to do with Rob Pat. I love his character. He's really nice, kind, brave, loyal and polite. I can't really find any fault with him.

Not that I don't care, but his death was necessary for the story and was a bit of a turning point in the series as the first non-background, non-villain death.
