i think that maybe in the attempt to kill harry as a baby he unintentially turned harry into the final horcrux and so unless harry dies voldermort can live on which is what the prophicy is about. its just an idea let me kno what u think!

Its a good theory, it would work well if Voldemort didn't know that Harry was a Horcrux, if he knew then there would be no way he would have tried to kill him every year since he started Hogwarts right? But as you say, if it was unintentional...? Good theory! I dunno, I would be sad if Harry did die, but in a way it would make the books even better for me cos it would show how much J.K. Rowling isn't afraid to take risks and go against the happily ever after ending. But I also kinda hope it all works out good for the trio cos I think that kids will be scarred if any of them die!! I will actually cry if Ron dies...

i kno what u mean i dont want him 2 die either but it would be a really nobel thing to do if he was to destroy all the horcruxs. well we'll soon find out on saturday :P lets hope j.k's done a good job :)

i know this goes against a lot of theories that I have heard in the past but I dont think he is a horcuux. I think that Voldemort would have had all of his horcruxes made by the time he went to kill Harry. He was in power a while before he killed Harry and he started with the Horcurxes even before he gained all the power. I think that he was so scared of death that he would have made them long ago.

I am not sure, but it can be, he is...That was a hard question.

but i thought that in the book it sed summit about he was going to use harry's death to create the last 1. meh im not even convinced myself about this theory i just wanted 2 see what other people were thinking, im very excited lol.

Yeah, me and my sis thought of this AGES ago! It's always been said that Voldermort left his 'mark' on him, it's a good twist! N perhaps he has only been trying to kill him to release the horcrux.

It's a very good theory and well-argued but I really don't think so. A lot of people say that Voldemort did it unintentionally but I cannot think of anything Voldemort does that is unintentional and obviously if he intended to make Harry his Horcrux I doubt he'd try to kill Harry every year. The most I can accept is Harry's scar being a Horcrux, that would be very interesting

harry is the final horcrux,but that ugly voldemort broke the horcrux!and harry safe from the murderer :)

But only for lack of a better word. I think Jo Rowling said that he is only called a Horcrux for lack of a better term. Since he was made one accidentally, he is not, by definition, a Horcrux, since making one requires intent. But, as I said before, for lack of a better word, he is one.

I'm assuming this pick was posted BEFORE the last book came out, but... yeah. I guessed it before it happened. I thought it was cool.
