Trelawney tells Parvati to "beware a red-haired man"... I'm confused.

So what exactly did Parvati have to stay away from Ron for?? At first I thought it was that he would go with her to the Yule Ball (i happened 2 watch movie 4 b4 i read book 3) but then i realized he went w/ padma, not with parvati... soooo.... y did paravati have 2 beware of ron?

Well, I was thinking that maybe there was no reason whatsoever for Parvati to beware of Ron, because as many people do know, Professor Trelawney's predictions are mostly absolute bullshit.

당신 seem to be overlooking a crucial detail. She said to "beware a red-hired man." That does NOT specifically mean Ron. In fact, it might not be him at all. It was just Parvati's caution that made it SEEM as if it were Ron, when it might not have been.

Whatever it was was probably a male and red in color. It might even be a male fox. Either way, it really doesn't matter

As Parvati isn't a major character at all, I don't think it meant any canon character. And for the same reason I don't think it was supposed to matter, but to be just one predeiction amongst many of which only some would have significance to the plot.
