i was shocked at two things in the last book. 1, that dobby died, i always thought he'd be there until the end. 2, that narcissa and lucius malfoy just got away and nobody stopped them

for no.2: yeah i think that was so unfair. they were death eaters. they should be punished!
I think J.K. Rowling specifically did that to show that not all the protagonists had a happily ever after and not all the antagonists got their punishment, because in real life that doesn't exactly happen, does it?
Yeah ... I really didn't expect Dumbledore, to have been into the Dark Arts - 당신 know, For The Greater Good. And that Snape was in 사랑 with Lily, came as a huge surprise for me. - And the thing about Moody (Barty Crouch Jr.) being an imposter, really came as a surprise.
I too, was shocked 의해 the dead of Fred. I really didn't believe it!
thats a hard question, Harry Potter series aint about expecting things. at the start who would say Sirius was harrys godfather who would say scabbers was peter petegrew
and theres a lot more, JK Rowling is really creative, there were a lot of things a wasnt expecting 읽기 the 책 and watching the films

Haha yes, it's not really about expecting things, is it now? :) All of it is very... Well, there are a lot of surprises and twists and turns to the plotline.
I didn't expect the "Dancing scene" (Harry- Hermione) in the deathly hallows part 1. Also i didn't expect Dobby's death, Fred's death, Cedric's death and Lupin's death (so sad).
I didnt expect the death of Snape, Fred, Lupin, Tonks, Sirius, 또는 any of the Hogwarts fighters. Also, I didnt see Harry coming out of the Gryffindors to confront Snape coming, shocking. Finally, I didnt expect Snape to be the caster of the silver doe.

Me too! When Harry walked out into the center of the great hall, i gasped so loudly in the cinema, people around me looked at me!
I never expected Lupin and 통스 to die, we have seen how badly Harry misses his family throughout the series and it felt bad when I imagined Teddy Lupin going through the same misery while growing up, there are several other things but thats what i could think of now

Yeah, JK Rowling said she wanted an echo of what Harry had gone through in the story. Leaving Teddy Lupin as an orphan showed that You-Know-Who didn't really care who he killed. But I loved Lupin and Tonks, I started bawling when they died!! That scene where 통스 holds out her hand for Lupin in DH 2 especially, cause I knew what was coming! It's always the worst when 당신 know what's coming in the theatre after 읽기 the book over and over!
Totally. I was so surprised to hear the J.K. Rowling was going to have Remus live through the series but then did the whole orphan thing and whatever to Teddy. I cried so much when they died in the movie and book. Also I heard that they were going to give 통스 and Remus a death scene, which I would of liked since I can only imagine it (nothing wrong with that), but instead they gave us the (crappy) 3D. "Oh joy 3D voldie-fettie!"
I guess I was fascinated 의해 Severus Snape from the beginning. His story was interesting and I knew from the beginning that there had to be 더 많이 to his character. So, finding out there was, wasn't that big a surprise.
Totally unexpected at the time of reading? There I was 읽기 about the final battle, the twins were fighting when suddenly they realized Percy was there fighting also, the banter got witty between Percy and his brothers as they realized he had finally come around, and he snapped off that 코멘트 about resigning his post, it was so Weasley, and touching, and so heartwarming that the family was complete and together all on the same side again, and then 프레드 was killed. I wasn't expecting that at all!
Sadder than that was when Hagrid found out he was dead, and the funeral. Very sad, just cause Dumbledore was always very kind to Hagrid and when he found out it was just so unexpected. And the funeral, just Hermione crying into Ron's shoulder and all, and everyone crying... I cried 더 많이 then than 읽기 his actual death.
Thing is, when I started, I wasn't really old enough to expect anything. As the series progressed, I realized that nothing can be expected of life. Harry expected to live life as a nkrmal wizard. Nope. He has to kill Voldemort.
