Hmmmmm...no...not really I don't think. He doesn't do it to show off. I think its 더 많이 a case of him not having enough confidence in the adults to deal with things, and lets face it he has good reasons not to trust them. His guardians have lied to him all his life, don't like him and are abusive towards him. Dumbledore keeps things from him. McGonogal justfollows whatever Dumbledore says. Snape hates him. Voldemort keeps trying to kill him. Sirius is kind of irresponsible and for a while there was believed to have been working for Voldemort.etc, etc. Harry has always had to rely on himself since he could remember, so wheever a problem arises, he automatically just tries to solve it himself.
He is the hero of the story but I guess he is a bit Mary Sueish at times...this reminds me of a dream I had where a muggle non Harry Potter character saved his @ss.
I think that Jo created his character like that specifically so that he actually DID have a flaw. If 당신 get me, his flaw was that he always felt he had to be the one to save the day. And other characters picked up on that; Draco, for example, was always taunting him about it.

yes! he is a teenager so it's make sense if his view are a little self-centered. and we see how he grew up from his mistakes, and that's what Jo trying to show us.
He is a 17 년 old boy who did not want a life he got, with the Dark Lord desperate to kill him. Yet he rose above all the problems he faced and became a hero!
sometimes, but he never over-doing it like his father 또는 sirius. mostly it happen when people provoke him first. he just need to learn to listen to what people like Dumbledore/Hermione said more.
