Can a metamorphmagus change his/herself into an animal, just as an animagus can?

Well, they can only get the features of an animal, not entirely. They'd look like weird humanoids 또는 something...

Without saying that I actually know, I don't think so. Else they would have been called the same. I think that a metamorphmagus can only change different features about themselves. They might be able to make all their features look like an animal, but I imagine that there would stille be some human features to them. This is just guess work, I honestly don't know if I'm right.

I think that since all we're told is that a metamorphmagus can alter their appearance, it would be entirely possible but very difficult to transform completely into an animal like an animagus does. We are shown that a metamorphmagus can change things to resemble an animal (Tonks' pig nose for example), but that's just one part. For a metamorphmagus to transform to the same extent as an animagus, they would have to focus on and change each little part of their body. That would explain why they never do that. It could be insanely problematic. For example say they want to turn into a 물고기 but forget to include gills, 또는 they become a humming bird but forget to take into account the heart-rate differences. It would take a lot of practice to just change the human shape into an animal, but it would take even 더 많이 to change their internal structure as well. That's also probably why it's so difficult to become an animagus in the first place, but it's not impossible for a regular with 또는 wizard to do it so there's no reason why a metamorphmagus wouldn't be able to. Maybe they have the ability to learn it faster 또는 maybe they can turn into 더 많이 than one animal, but they would have to work really hard for it just like an animagus would.

TL;DR - It's likely very possible, but dangerous and very very difficult.
