What does ''I open at the close'' means?

There's a relationship between the "close" and the "going to die". Death is just the passage between an end and a beginning. Remember what Dumbledore said : "To the well organized mind, death is but the 다음 great adventure." He saw death as a beginning, the beginning of a new adventure.

He had given the Snitch to Harry as a bequest. 'I open at the close' means that the snitch will open and reveal the resurection stone when Harry is about to die. The 'close' is death, as death is the closing of life. So when Harry says 'I am about to die' it opens, as he is nearing the close

The "close" being referred to is the end of the book and the close of the Harry Potter saga. The opening is pretty much self explanatory. JKR wants 당신 to think the close is death but my explanation is better. ;)

I am pretty sure it means "I open when things are going wrong" like when Hagrid said that he was going to die. Therefore, I am guessing that "the close" means "the bad 또는 the uncontrollable things."

"The Close" means:

"I open at the close" as many of us allready said,simply means that the Snitch opens in 당신 dying moment 또는 when 당신 know 당신 are about to die.
Simple as anything.

It means that the Snitch will open when Harry is about to die. "The close" is considered as being the end of Harry's life.
