So in spirit of 할로윈 I decided to make a list of my 상단, 맨 위로 5 horror 영화 to watch on Halloween. However I am not including super popuplar ones like 'Halloween', 'Nightmare On Elm Street', 'Friday The 13th', 'The Ring', and so on.
5. Anabelle
I actually did see this one on Halloween. And it was a great decision. kept me up at night for sure lol. If 당신 like possesed 인형 and demons, this movie is for you. Supposedly based on a true story, Anabelle is a movie about posession and uncanny endings. Really great movie, 10/10.
4. Resident Evil
This one, even though it is pretty popular, is one I had to throw in because I 사랑 it so much. Zombies are the things that aren't scary enough to have me up for nights on end but just chilling enough to hold my attention. That's why I think this one is perfect for the holiday. Plus if you're looking for a bunch of 영화 to watch 당신 can just grab the whole series and have a kickass, action packed, zombie night.
3. Carved
I really, really adore Japanese horror. And this one (like Ringu--aka The Ring--and Ju-On) is a classic. Based on the Japanese folk tale this one will send chills all over. Legend has it that there was a woman who had her mouth slashed 의해 her husband. She came back as a spirit called, Kuchisake-onna also dubbed as the Slit Mouth Woman. They say she wears a surgical mask to hide the slit and will seek out a victim. When she finds the victim she asks, "Am I pretty?" If they answer no, she will kill them with her scissors. If they reply yes, she reveal her slit mouth and ask "How about now?" If the person 답변 no, she will cut her victim in half. If the person says yes, then she will slit his/her mouth just like hers. The worst part is that there is no running away unless the victim gives a neutral response such as, "you look alright". This only distracts her briefly. She mostly targets children. This is the urban legend that Carved is based on. So if 당신 don't mind subtitles, feel free to watch this one and start to fear walking alone at night.
2. Kaidan Shin Mimibukuro: Yirei Manshon (Tales Of Terror: The Hautned Apartments)
Another, lesser known, Japanese horror movie. Not to be confused with Apartment 1303, this one is probably one of my 가장 좋아하는 Asian horrors. It's basically about a girl and her family who 옮기기 into this haunted apartment complex. No one can leave the complex after midnight and if the person is out at night he/she must be back 의해 midnight lest they be killed 의해 the ghost. The only way out of the predicament is to get someone to 옮기기 in and take your place--so sort of like The Ring except instead of making them watch a video tape 당신 have to be good at house retail lol. It's actually really creepy especially when 당신 see the face of the ghost. I highly reccomend it. Just don't go apartment hunting afterwards.
1. Amityville Horror
Finally at number 1, I just had to place Amityville Horror. This one scared me shitless in middle school; because of one scene I refused to go to the bathroom at night for months. Being who I am I decided that little me was just being a lil' 암캐, 암 캐 and decided to watch it again. Let's just say I wasn't going to the bathroom at night again for another month. This movie is probably the scariest movie I have ever seen from the beginning to the end. Each scene was equally as horrifying as the next. And after seeing this one I hated 3:15. So if 당신 wanna ruin your sleeping pattern for some 할로윈 fun this is the movie for you.
So there 당신 have it, my 상단, 맨 위로 5 horror 영화 to traumatize 당신 on 할로윈 and the days/weeks that follow.
