Last June, Halestorm singer-guitarist Lzzy Hale\'s name trended on Twitter — spelled incorrectly. She had just joined country superstar Eric Church for a rafter-shaking duet on his "That\'s Damn Rock & Roll" at the NBC-televised CMT Music Awards and stolen the show. Viewers bombarded social media with raves about "Lizzy Hale."

It was a breakthrough moment for the singer, whose band already had a Grammy to its name (the 2013 award for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the song "Love Bites (So Do I)" and the title of first-ever female-fronted group to top the Active Rock radio chart. Halestorm followed up the performance with a long tour opening for Church, and now, having recruited many country-music fans into their headbanging legions, the band is preparing to release its third album,
on April 14th. The quartet recorded the LP in Hale\'s new hometown, Nashville, with producer Jay Joyce at his St. Charles Studio, which was converted from an old church.
All of this might lead longtime fans to worry that Halestorm have gone country, but as they\'ve suggested with the two songs already released from
— the bluesy, licks-heavy "Apocalyptic" and the more rip-roaring and metallic "Mayhem" — this is far from the case. Today, they\'ve rolled out the video for a third song, the stomping call to arms "Amen," which also sees the band sticking to, if refining, its established sound.
"This video was so much fun to make!" Hale enthuses. "This song, \'Amen,\' is about taking ownership of everything you are. So we asked ourselves, \'If there were a Church of Halestorm, what would it be like?\' We include a nod to the rock & roll church we recorded our latest album in, and you see us truly leaving everyday life behind and stepping \'into the wild life.\' Hope you enjoy!"
is available for pre-order in exclusive physical bundles here. Halestorm will hit the road from April 22nd to June 14th with support from the Pretty Reckless.
