What's the difference between 이모 and goth?

이모 was originally a nickname for "emotive hardcore" (type of music), but has evolved into meaning "emotional" because it was misinterpreted, since 팬 of this 음악 were ususally known for being a bunch of depressed-self-harming-teens with too much free time. It's all stereotypical. But this is what it's known for now. An 이모 person (like I said stereotypical) would be very depressed, hate the world, including themselves and probabl cry all the time. They've even stereotyped and 이모 style. Usually "emo" kids dress in skinny jeans, dark 색깔 (but not all black), band tee shirts, and chucks. But, like I said about 5 또는 so times. IT'S ALL STEREOTYPICAL!!! And it did originally mean "emotive hardcore". (and if some one dresses like that it doesn't mean they're gonna go suicidal!)
The word "gothic" was originally used to descibe works of art that were "dark", which is the meaning, hence how it now descibes people we call "goth".
고딕 is now used as an adjective is ususally used to discribe people who wear all, 또는 mostly black. They're usually gloomy. And people think that they do some sort of devil worship. They're sometimes depressed, but everyone can get depressed, so that doesn't really count.
고딕 style is (like I said) all 또는 mostly black, heavy eyeliner, black 또는 odd colored hair. This too can all be stereotypical. Like 당신 can dress "goth" and not worship the devil. 당신 can say you're goth and not worship the devil. There's a goth style 음악 too.

이모 is someone who is depressed and suicidal.
goth is when 당신 dress in almost all black.

with the kids these days there is no such thing as an emo, there mostly douchebag greenday 연인들 또는 just screamo fagats that consider themselves 이모 because they listen to screamo, and with goths there just douchebag posers that dress "gothic" and tells people "yeah im weird and gothic" it just pisses me off. well i just gave 당신 the 설명 of emos and goths in this generation.

I think goth is the look, & sort of how 당신 act, but not completely. 이모 is the look, & cutting yourself & stuff like that. Sorry to anyone if i have this wrong, just what i think. I dont think i have it right at all, actually, so no offense to anyone.

goth and 이모 are very diff and 이모 is not where 당신 cry all the time 또는 cut 또는 hate the world and your self. In fact 이모 is where 당신 dress how 당신 like even if no one else likes it, 또는 당신 listen to 음악 that no one has heard of and if it becomes listened to 더 많이 we dont stop playing.most goth people wear the following 색깔 black, dark blue, dark purple, and green {any shade of green it dont matter} they worship satan and evil spirts even tho they are not bad themselfs most are mean in till 당신 get to know them. Emos where mostly black and 당신 dont want to get us mad it will end badly for who ever wants to fight us 또는 mess with our friends. Im a 이모 13 년 old in middle school and most 이모 and goth kids dont get along so be very careful on what 당신 call poeple. Theres also badasses they wear a lot of chains gold black and silver. they wear a lot of leather and listen to hard rock most of the time. they cuss alot and arent afraid to fight anyone.
