German shepherd lovers- please can 당신 help:

I 사랑 german shepherds, and i have always wanted one. i know all about them and what's involved with owning one, but the problem is that i have lots of 고양이 and i'm worried that if i get a GS i might come 집 one 일 and find it has killed one of them 또는 something, because i know that they can be ferocious sometimes. i know that if 당신 buy a GS as a 강아지 so that it gets used to 고양이 then it will probably be okay but i'm just a bit worried because 당신 read in the papers about really nice 개 suddenly turning and attacking, and my 고양이 wouldn't stand a chance if that happened. i've looked after other people's german shepherds and i know everything there is to know about the 개 themselves, the only problem is the cats. i don't know what to do about my situation.
does anyone have any ideas?
is your german shepherd OK with cats?

it just depends if they grew up around cats. my gs and my cat are best 프렌즈 and i have had the cat longer than the gs...but....i had another gs before her and the gs and my cat didnt get along so it just depend on the gs

i kno its not the same but i have a st.bernaird/lab mix and he grew up with 고양이 and the only thing he does and rarely does is chase and if he does he gets in trouble so u can also teach your dog not to mess with them if they do they get in trouble

if they grow up together 또는 just mainly if the gs grows up with a cat then it should be fine because then they will be used to it i kno its not the same but i have a st.bernaird/lab mix and he grew up with 고양이 and the only thing he does and rarely does is chase and if he does he gets in trouble so u can also teach your dog not to mess with them if they do they get in trouble hope that helps ^_^ and this pic is so cute give prop if u like thanx

Well, I have a Pit 황소, 불 not a GS, but I think they're cool all the same and I think if 당신 get it as a 강아지 and keep it in a fenced off area for a while that he/she will slowly but surely grow around cats...

I had one German Shepherd that we found as a adult and he LOVED my three cats, he even cuddled with them, but it all depends on the dog, so i would get it as 강아지 and have it socialize with the 고양이 at a very early age, hope i could help! :)

The cat that I had always slept and barley moved (zombie cat), so it didn't bother my GS. If 당신 have a hyper cat, it MIGHT try to play of bite it. But I've never seen one attack a cat. Just birds D: I don't think it'll do any harm to them at all.
