Theon owes them nothing, he was their captive since he was 10 years old. Eddard would've killed him, if Theons FAMILY would've betrayed the Starks. I understand the cause, but that's still fucked up. No one deserves this, expect Ramsay himself. And Theon had a hard life before Ramsay... He has made wrongs decisions and is clearly no "good" guy, but it's not very hard to understand him either.
