Game of Thrones: Jim Broadbent Joins Season 7 Cast in Mysterious Role 

The HBO drama has cast Oscar-winning British actor Jim Broadbent, whose many credits include playing Hogwarts’ Prof. Slughorn in the 

films, in a top-secret role in Season 7, EW.com reports.

No details are available on the character, so let’s make like Drogon and light those speculation fires, shall we? It’s possible Broadbent, who is 67, will play the 60-something “priest” referenced in casting notices that became public in August. Whomever Broadbent will bring to life, we won’t meet him until summer 2017, thanks to the production needing more wintry conditions for shooting the upcoming season.
