I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Benioff and Weiss on What's 다음 for Game of Thrones and Westeros
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Do you feel that in the air? That, my friends, is the feeling of anticipation, as
Season 7 filming gears up, after a two month delay in order to time the shoot with winter’s arrival later this year. But showrunners Benioff and Weiss are back in Belfast, according to
. They’re hard at work prepping for Season 7, and doing their Emmy Award run-up of interviews (like this one for
“Deadlift.”) or rehashing “Battle of the Bastards,” which garnered the most Emmy nominations buzz. But in the latter half of the interview, they discuss Season 7 and where some of our characters stand. For instance, they weighed in on what’s next for Jaime, who was last seen staring at Cersei as she is crowned Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
Jaime has to start coming to terms with how drastically and irrevocably everything in his world has changed—political arrangements, his personal life, everything. He knew his sister was capable of big plays, but this is another level. And Cersei’s look back to him… well, he’s probably always known that she was in charge in their relationship. Now he really knows it.
As for Cersei, who lost the last of her humanity when her last child died, Benioff and Weiss tease heavily that who Cersei is without her children is a major theme of next season. “Cersei has certainly done a lot of horrible things in her life and she could be a very cruel person, but the one thing that was redemptive about her was she genuinely loved her children. Now they’re all gone, and I think that is very interesting for us. Who is she, without her children? The answer is something you’ll find out about next season.”
But as we all know, Cersei is small potatoes compared to the true “Big Bad” of the series, the Night King. When asked to compare him to other villains like Ramsay Bolton or Joffrey, the two seemed a little taken aback.
We don’t think of The Night King as a villain as much as Death. He is not someone who’s like Joffrey or Ramsay. He’s not really human anymore. Evil comes when you have a choice between that and good, and you choose the wrong way. The Night King doesn’t have a choice; he was created in that way, and that’s what he is. In some ways, he’s just Death, coming for everyone in the story, and for all of us…. In some ways, it’s appropriate he doesn’t speak. What’s Death going to say? Anything would diminish him. He’s just a force of destruction. I don’t think we’ve ever been tempted to write dialogue for The Night King. Anything he said would be anticlimactic.
As for the Night King getting over the Wall, neither want to give anything away, but they both agree that the Wall isn’t just “a Wall.” Let the theories commence as to what they mean.
As for Dany and Jon Snow? They answer acrobatically, presenting us with questions to ponder while we wait.
The question (is) whether an honorable man can overcome dishonorable enemies. As E.O. Wilson wrote, ‘Within a group, selfish individuals always win. But in contests between groups, groups of altruists always beat groups of selfish individuals.’ So Jon Snow better hope this is a contest between groups.
Her sense of destiny makes her a compelling, charismatic leader, a messianic figure for multitudes. She has arguably the cleverest advisor on the planet in Tyrion Lannister. She has three dragons, an army of Unsullied, and a great Dothraki horde. What could possibly go wrong?
Game of Thrones actresses racked up lots of nominations at this year’s Emmys, but plenty...

It would be very interesting if this army comes over and then Dany just does. What would they do? Who would take the reigns over if anyone would?
I agree about the Night King. Don’t have him talk. No need. The “Wall isn’t just a wall” is amazing to hear. I think a Ice Dragon is buried at the base!
That might be revealed in the books but I wager we won’t see something like that on the show, as the CGI required is already too much for the 3 dragons at the moment.
Maybe The Wall will be akin to the “Wall of Jericho” where it fell down after trumpets of rams’ horns were blown. Who knows.
They’re probably just referring to the already established fact that it’s also a magical barrier, as opposed to just being a physical wall.
Here are some lines I think the Night King could say that may not diminish his badassery: “I could really go for some tea…and do we have any of those blueberry scones left?”
“Hey Chuck! CHUCK! Stop beating that dead horse.”
winter is coming..snow flurries were blowing through the streets of Kings Landing at end of book 5…how will the Unsullied and Dothraki cope with the cold?
maybe they will fight the Night King in the sand dunes of Dorne? lol
Yep. In the end of ADWD winter wasn’t come yet. There is still autumn and already it snows in King’s Landing. Imagine, what will be happening in the north, when winter comes.
She has three dragons, an army of Unsullied, and a great Dothraki horde. What could possibly go wrong?
I’m guessing a good portion of her army perishes, along with a dragon or two. This will happen either from a sea battle early in season 7, or that her troops are ill prepared for the onset of winter in Westeros. Even if her army did manage to reach King’s Landing, Cersei might be smart enough to employ the same guerilla tactics Ramsay did versus Stannis by attacking their supply caches. If anything it will be a signal to Daenerys that the great game isn’t going to be easy. I just get the feeling that her army will be defeated, in order to get her on equal numbers with the Houses she will be warring with. And if she is defeated, how will this affect her relationship with the Dothraki since their power structure is essentially a meritocracy? Once a leader is defeated they are forever shamed.
I agree, she’ll lose a lot of her army at sea, I think she’ll realize they can’t help her and leave them in dorne. Dany and the Tyrell army will come down on kings landing.
Well, Euron’s 1000 ships isn’t build for nothing.
listen there def is something going on at the wall, magic; maybe ice dragon for Bran! And now Euron will fight Dany at sea with his thousand ships and that is what will most likely be happening! Euron will side with cersai and marry her, she will for the ships and men, fully knowing she wont give him any children.
Judging from their statements, while reading in between the lines a bit, Jon snow will struggle a bit but will succeed in what he’s doing. Cersie will continue to do terrible things and become even more of a monster. The ice dragon is coming. Dany is not going to have a good time, I’ll even go as far to say that she’s somewhat fucked.
They must have fast shipwrights on the iron islands. You would think maybe they would have one or two done in time to meet dany at sea. I’m leaning towards dragonbinder coming into play
*scene* The Night King slowly walks through the great hall of Winterfell with sword drawn. See’s Sansa standing at the hearth, a blazing fire lit, her back to him. The Night King walks up behind her. Sansa turns around to face him. He puts his finger on her forehead expecting his touch to turn her eyes blue as she becomes an Other. Inexplicably his eyes start to turn the same shade of brown as Sansas.
Sansa: “I’m a Ginger, I do the soul stealing around here”
*scene* cut to Sands and the Night King knitting and eating lemon cakes. She says something inadible, he giggles like a little girl.
“I COULD MURDER A CURRY.” Wrong Death, but a great line.
