I remember visiting this website once...
It was called This Compilation Of Every time Hodor Says His Own Name Will Give 당신 All The Feels | CINEMABLEND
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
This Compilation Of Every time Hodor Says His Own Name Will Give You All The Feels
is arguably one of the largest and most widely watched television shows of all time. Based on the series of (unfinished)
novels by George R. R. Martin, the series spans an entire world and features a seemingly endless supply of interesting characters. And while everyone in Westeros seems to be manipulating, killing, and marrying in order to gain more power, there are a few characters who are truly pure of heart and genuinely sweet. One of these pure souls is the gentle giant simpleton known as Hodor. Two episodes ago, the folks over at
once again tugged at our heart strings, when Hodor was killed, as both his backstory and destiny were revealed.
fans have been (not so) quietly mourning the death of Hodor since he was ripped apart by wights, HBO seems to have heard the universal fan outcry. As such, the premium network has released a new video which is a compilation of all of Hodor’s lines of dialogue in the series. Check it out.
Are you feeling the nostalgia? After six season of chaos and murder, it’s really something else to see the humble beginnings of Season 1, when all of the Starks were alive and well.
, although his first line (you guessed it, “Hodor”) occurred in “Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things”, the fourth episode of Season 1. During this appearance, Hodor is brought to the recently crippled Bran’s chambers by Theon Greyjoy to carry him to Winterfell’s Great Hall. Going back to the simpler times in Winterfell, before Theon betrayed the Starks, will certainly bring fans back to their first viewing of the series. Back when they might not have known any of the character’s names or who they were loyal to.
From there, we’re given Hodor’s entire tenure on
in superspeed. Hiding in Winterfell while Theon burned fake Bran and Rickon, his travels with Osha, the boys, and the wolves, and even meeting Sam and Gilly occur in rapid succession.
And while Hodor isn’t a particularly influential for the majority of his time on
, he’s been with Bran since basically the very beginning. With the big twist of his backstory happening, I have to wonder how much Hodor remembered of his destiny. Did he know that he’d have to save Bran, therefore blindly following and supporting him? Or was it only in his final moments that he once again became one with his mind? I guess we’ll never know.
airs Sundays on HBO. Now with 100 percent less Hodor.
