왕좌의 게임 질문

Hi I am currently doing a dissertation on film tourism in Northern Ireland and about how game of thrones is filmed here but is it promoted enough to bring in tourism? Would this type of programme influence anybody to visit a destination on holiday?

I am especially looking for the views from people outside the UK and Ireland.

Well I definitely would like to visit these places someday, but this was something I had in mind before I watched GoT. Nevertheless, the show has made me 더 많이 curious and excited I think. They've shot scenes at beautiful locations there and I do think it influences people in wanting to go there for themselves.

Hi,
glad to hear your studying the GOT and Northern ireland. I'm doing something similar myself for my thesis. I'm studying project management at QUB and am researching the physical aspects of a successful film based tourism route. It might be useful for us both to get in touch. Absolutely! The Game of Thrones has drawn me back into my 사랑 of medieval history and as an extension I have found that my family came from Northern Ireland (I'm Australian). I think 더 많이 castles and ancient sites used in the series would intrigue people even more. I am sure I am not the only one.

I find myself often thinking about where GOTh is filmed while watching. The landscape is so beautiful. I am a newbie to the series and never knew until I saw this 질문 posed where exactly it is filmed. The series is wildly 인기 all over the world. Between GOTh and the Kimye wedding (lol) Ireland is a hot destination right now.
