Anyone from Texas who HATES FNL?

Someone I'm close to is from Texas, still lives there, and hates FNL I mean really really hates it. He says it never shows Texas in a positive light and is always focusing on the dysfunctional families. Oh and he doesn't get why Coach would put up with Riggins being a chronic drunk who shows up to practice late half the time-apparently that's a big no-no and will not only get 당신 kicked off the team but kicked out of school.

So anyone else from Texas who feels this way? Feel the opposite? Leave feedback, I'll check in when I can
